Polaris F5 Vac-Sweep 280 Pressure Side Pool Cleaner I am very pleased with my Zodiac Polaris Vac-Sweep model 280. This my second Polaris. The first lasted more than 8 years. This model does a very good job of keeping my pool clean and free of debris. I recommend purchasing it.

Does what it advertises and does it well This is my second Polaris 280 in eight years. The old one wore out and it would cost more to fix it than a new 280. The 280 does what is designed for and is relatively trouble free. As with all Polaris products replacement parts and bags are very expensive.
Just OK Can somebody please invent a good, and good quality pool sweep. We have been through 3 Hayward Phantoms (great machine for about 6 months, terrible quality and withdrawn from the market). Seemed like this was the best next option. Not bad but it still tangles itself up now and again and it is set up properly, and it does not clean the surface of the pool. Can anybody at MIT or Shanghai invent a good pool cleaner for me ?
Best pool cleaner I have tried. I had a Hayward pool cleaner and it worked O.K. for me, but this one is better. It runs about the same speed but does require a little more run time to go over the entire pool and get it really clean. The biggest difference is the bag. Way easier to get on and off the cleaner and the finer mesh means it picks up more and much smaller stuff. Things like fine sand that would somehow go thru the filter and my other cleaner are now easily trapped and taken out. Buy with confidence. This thing neve... read more

Outstanding. This is the best pool vac I have ever had. Does a terrific job. The only problem is the the bag does not stay up on the tube. It always slides down and drags. This should be corrected.
Little Design Change The Zodiac has changed very little for a good number of years. It does not have to change. It does its job and can be taken for granted, just what I want in a pool cleaner. TOM
