LOVED THE PRODUCT, NOT AT ALL PLEASED WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE I purchased the Polaris VRX iQ+ in June 2023 and expected a premium cleaner at this price point to last several years. Instead, the unit stopped working in August 2025—just two months after the warranty expired. When I took it to Leslie’s Pool Supply for diagnosis, I was told that the motor, gears, electrical cable, and E‑box control unit all needed to be replaced. I purchased your product and it did not work.I returned to the place of purchase and they contacted your support team to figure out why it was not working.A week and half later they replaced parts on a brand new machine. I requested a new replacement and was told that your company would not do that.I would think that your company would be interested in why a new product was nonfunctional.It is hard to recommended your product or company to anyone else.Maybe QC dept. needs more supervision

This is my 4th Polaris and every 2 years when the warranty expires, I end up having to replace with a brand new one because to fix it, cost more than the unit itself. The last Polaris, we got lucky and the warranty was actually 3 years and we were able to get a new free replacement Polaris. Not that I’m a big fan of Polaris but I have yet to find an equivalent that will clean my pool. I just wish Polaris pool bots would last longer.

I've had the VRX iQ+ robot for a year. It's been used infrequently for my inground pool a couple of times a week and at first, I was impressed for the most part. That is until this swimming season (1 year later) when I noticed the unit running irregular patterns, not climbing the walls to the waterline, eventually constantly going in circles in the deep end. The model claimed to be cleaning surface - this didn't happen starting day one. It worked well for the cleaning of the bottom of the pool. Now, a little over a year later, the robot stopped working completely. That's quite short life for something at this price level. Very disappointed.

My old $600 non-programmable Dolphin S200 was SO much better than this fancy $1,600 unit. This one doesn’t do as good a job at basic cleaning and is constantly getting stuck. It refuses to learn that my pool has a raised shelf with bar stools in the deep end so the only way to get it to clean up there is to do a standard floor/wall cleaning cycle, at which point it gets stuck in between the bar stools and then throws an error code and stops cleaning. The cord is terrible and gets all tangled as soon as it’s put in the pool as a result it doesn’t get to the deep end of the pool. I don’t think it does nearly as good a job as our old one which was a nautilus plus. Additionally I was supposed to get a $200 rebate and have yet to receive it.

Here are some suggestions to improve the cord tangling issue: 1) Remove the cleaner from the pool and lay the cable across the pool deck to relieve coiled memory. 2) Allow the cleaner cable to enter the pool at the center of the length of the pool 3) Only use enough cable to reach the farthest point from the cable entry location 4) Gently toss the necessary cable across the pool water for even distribution instead of dropping the cable in a lu... read more

Don’t get me wrong, I love the vacuum when it works, I love the design. I find that it has issues with the internet connection, even though the router is less than 10 feet away. But, why is this my third Polaris vaccum in 3 years., errors after errors, from 01 to 02 to 10, I do not comprehend for something so expensive ($1700.00+tax) to only lasting a year.
