I purchased one new, it lasted a month before it broke. Ended up calling polaris about it and they sent me a new replacement unit. The replacement unit lasted around 2 months and it went out. Repair place had to replace motor assembly and cord on it which took around 3 weeks. Got it back and it lasted 6 months and it went out again. Worked great for 8 months but then started throwing errors and would not work at all. Has been in shop for a week, still don't have it back yet.

This machine doesn't pick up everything like advertised and must continuously start over so upset wish I would of went with another brand.

The cord tangles and has to be disconnected from the base and untangled after three runs. This is my second Polaris with the same issue. You need a "return home" and lift option that brings the robot back to its base or the phone app. You need a lifting mechanism on the base that will hook onto the robot handle and either pull it out of the water or have a manual lifting mechanism.
