The food was outstanding. The service was ok. They need to invest in steak knives with serrated edges. I took time to remove all the remaining roasted garlic cloves and put them on my plate for the leftover steak I was bringing home; however, the waitress discarded them and the lovely grilled lemon I wanted as well. I guess you need to tell them if you want these 'extras'. I thought I made it pretty obvious to wrap them up, but make sure you speak up. Start with a cocktail and a Kobe meatball at the bar with the best bartender there Carrie O'Brien. Then have dinner at Portico ....whatever you choose will be excellent. I recently had the special which was a 3-tiered fresh tomato and Seafood concoction that was out of this world. I thought the bisque was a bit bland but hubby's tenderloin was to die for. And he ordered fries on the side which were excellent! Hubby goes there to gamble and we both love the food at Porticos!!! A very special place.

Server Michael was excellent! Steak very good. Special appetizer with lobster had some meat that tasted old and overcooked. Will try the pasta next time that looked so good. Awkward that restaurant was slow and most tables unoccupied and hostess seated a couple directly next to us at table so close for some reason. Plenty of room to spread out and not be on top of each other. Staff very friendly and professional. Overall enjoyed the experience and food but will stay away from previously cooked seafood dishes.

I had aWonderful time dining in the Extraordinary Restaurant. The food served was 5Star , and the waitress , along with the bartender , were Exceptional!

We were excited to try portico as we had eaten at one of fabios restaurants in Chicago before. The chicken piccatta was horrible. The lemon in it was so bitter i could not eat it. The pasta was over done, stuck together, and gummy. The meatball app was good the burrata was disappointing and under seasoned. My husband said the veal parm was ok. Overall not worth the money and we will never come back.
The service and food were outstanding - we had steak, chicken, Bolognese, mushrooms and potato. We will come back again. Would prefer chicken marsala vs chicken piccata.

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious meal in a lovely atmosphere with spectacular service. I have always enjoyed the filet and my husband has had the pasta which he said was outstanding. The buffet breakfast was delightful. I had French Toast and it was divine.
