We’ve been to the Portico at DelLago several times and each time the food and service have been five star.

Food was very good. Service was excellent. Bottle price of wine could be a little cheaper. Portions are average. Overall great experience. I would be very selective with dinner choices next time.

The web site referenced specials, with no disclaimers for use on the day we were going. When I asked, I was told they were not available since there was a concert. We shared a shrimp cocktail, was good but shrimp was small for the price paid. Food and service were good but not great, I would recommend TS Steakhouse over Portico any day.

The food was excellent and the portions were quite large which made the price reasonable since you couldn't finish everything. I would go back to try other dishes when at the casino.
The negative of our experience was the hostess. Although she accommodated our request to change tables ( they originally wanted to seat us in the bar). She had quite the attitude about it. Stressed how busy they were & acted like moving our table was a huge inconvenience. Then throughout our dinner we noticed there were many open tables the entire time.

First time there to dine before the Righteous Brothers show - the food exceeded our expectations (probably the best swordfish I have ever had), a bit noisy, wish the bar was larger to accomodate us having a cocktail before our reservation time. Overall, excellent experience!!

So the 3 things I will be touching on are staff, food, and menu/pricing!! Staffs attitude, education on menu, and attention to needs. With food, presentation, quantity, and flavor. Menu/pricing items available, and cost. Our waitress was great!! Professional but yet personable! She asked pertinent questions, and informed us of changes to menu and things not available on menu (specials). Our waitress and greeters met every need we had and was always courteous! Seated right away. Fantastic food appetizers: charred octopus & calamari (both fabulous). For dinner we had swordfish & the pasta w/ crab, asparagus (I cannot recall the name of the dish) - both were wonderful - swordfish was fresh, melt in your mouth l, and cooked to perfection. We don’t have a “date night sans children” too often but this was wonderful - we weren’t rushed & had a lovely time. Highly recommend Portico!
