Very poor communication, the price changed on the house while we were under contract. It was a very bad experience and I had to keep calling back to get a response every after I filed the compliant. Then I was told that the house was rented out to someone else

Shame on you Progress Residential! I have been a long term tenant, taken very good care of your property, always paid my rent on time! I have done everything expected and more on my part. You however, have lied to me regarding my 10 outstanding work requests (pending for over 6 weeks), you told me just as recent as Thursday June 11th that the CDC has placed restrictions on you preventing you from conducting routine maintenance. I am a current tenet. I attempted to get a maintenance issue resolved for over three months regardin trees that need to be trimmed on the property. My lease agreement states that any tree over 8' is the responsibility of Progress. Every time I call they tell me I a different reason to as to why service is not completed. The first was covid. The second was people are not paying their rent so they are not servicing properties to save money. Don’t ever rent from Progress Residential!!!!! I WOULD NEVER EVER RECCOMEND THEM and I rented from the for over 5 years!!!!!! How about I follow all the procedures and pay these carpet cleaners and you even have to pay $250 for a cleaner even if you clean yourself!! So I moved out 5/4 and I have heard NOTHING from them! They charged me $800 in advance for my last two months of electric, but I didn’t live there the last month. When charging me they promised they’d refund me the difference upon move out. This home that I moved into is infested with ants and roaches. The appliances are old and failing. Since I moved in a Progress Residential home in March, I gave my notice to Vacate in May. I have had my oven/stove fixed 3x and it was not quick, I went weeks without cooking for my children. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. We have lived in our house for less than a year, and have had non stop problems with our AC unit. We have called numerous times, and have had numerous technicians out with nothing resolved. They put the blame on the vendor, and never fix the issue. When calling we have asked how many times have we called regarding our AC. 18 TIMES AND COUNTING WE HAVE CALLED, they said they know we have been calling but we have not had our AC properly serviced or repaired. Just run from this company. They misrepresent the state of the properties they rent. You have to jump through hoops to get anything fixed properly and they give you excuses like "well you have to understand these are older homes and things go wrong." No I don't have to understand, all I have to do is give you money to provide me with a "high quality rental home...where we take care of everything..." like you're website states. I have lived in my house for a little over a 1 year now. The A/C unit has broken so many times. It’s leaked through the my bathroom from the attic twice ( literally had a mini flood). It keeps shutting off and of course it would it’s an old unit and I only know that because of the multiple technicians who keep coming by, who are all saying the same thing. They are a rip off. The picture of home is not true, the house is outdated and no repairs, no new carpet, and no new paint. They rent was going to be $2000 or more a month, I told them it's not worth it. I've never moved into a place as. They recieved almost 24000 from last tenant and they were not not repainting or replace carpet. The counters and cabinets in kitchen were damaged as well. Just ridiculous. I am beyond frustrated. I have to find a place within 2 weeks.
