Get directionsProline plumbing services was sent to our home to check out a possible water heater issue. The manufacturer, AO Smith sent them under warranty. Long story short, I had to pay $140 for Tony to multimeter check and say it wasn't electrical, but he then never offered to check the plumbing, just said call back tomorrow if it's not working still. After 2 more visits and just replacing parts over and over, and them mentioning it could be a plumbing leak, but never actually going through any steps to diagnose the problem. The owner... read more

Nyssa, We are sorry you were not pleased with our service. We were called to service your water heater through warranty service. When our technician's were on site they checked the unit and found that the water heater was firing and heating. You insisted that it had to be the water heater since you did not have an issue until the new water heater was installed. We replaced elements and thermosts to ensure they were functioning properly. When you still had an issue, we offered to come out and diagnose your plumbing issue... read more
Proline was very flexible in trying to fix my Navien heating system. They were very professional and nice-but needed to talk with Navien tech services each time they came out. After several attempts, I finally had to purchase a new system for $4,000 out of pocket. What I really didn't like, was that Proline would not vie me a refund for the new parts that they put in the "old" Navien to try to fix it. Over $500. So now, I have an old Navien with new parts in my garage hoping that I can get some $ for it. :(
Business response:
Hi Liz, thank you for your review and your business. We were dispatched thru your home warranty company to repair your water heater. Unfortunately, warranties require us to exhaust all efforts at repair before replacement of the unit. We were doing as instructed by AHS. It is regrettable that parts are nonrefundable after installation. I am happy to hear that your new unit is up and running.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! THEY WILL TRY TO SCAM YOU FOR UNNECESSARY REPAIRS! I had them come out for a leak in my shower. The lazy contractor stated he could not "detect" the leak and would have to charge us $500 to remove our shower enclosure so he could find the leak AND "$2,500+" to install a new enclosure after he fixes the leak. Liars!! I just had a contractor come for a second opinion two days ago. The leak was caused by a six dollar pipe next to the shower head and NO removal of my shower enclosure was necess... read more

Hi Nita, We reviewed you job details. What you are stating does not match with what our technician reported. Please call the office to discuss your job so we can clarify the issue 877.376.2713. Thank you.
Do not use this company!!! I would give negative stars if I could. This company came out to install a new sump pump in my crawl space back in July. Long story short, they purchased low level equipment and installed it poorly. Three months later I had to have them come back out to "fix" the sump pump. Again, they did poor work and my crawl space is now covered in 1-2 feet of standing water. A different plumbing company has been out to evaluate my situation. Their plumber said nothing Proline installed in my crawl space is up ... read more
Business response:
Kelly, We are sorry to hear you are having issues with your sump pump. We installed a new sump pump in your crawl space in July. When our technician was out in early December, he found that the float was stuck causing the unit not to work properly. Our technician made a modification to the float and it was working correctly when he left. I assure you that we use quality equipment. Our agreement with your warranty company has us replace with like quality equipment; the same quality as your original unit. We would need ... read more
Tyrone Miles came to my house to investigate a leak in the basement. He cut two holes into my ceiling then said that the leak was due to the tiling in the upstairs bathroom. Obviously, he did not look close enough because there was a huge hole in the pipe that was exposed as a result of him cutting the sheetrock out. I had to have another plumber come out to do the repairs. I will not use this company nor would I ever recommend them to anyone else.
Business response:
Hi Julie, Please call the office 877.376.2713. We are not aware of this situation. Thank you
Buyer beware! I do not recommend Proline plumbing for two reasons. 1. $125 for an estimate that took 10-15 minutes is unreasonable. 2. The quote I received off of that visit was nearly twice as much as I received from another service or online research. I contacted Proline to work through this with them and they declined to refund my money or revise the quote. First - I knew and agreed to the $125 but expected a thorough evaluation of my pressure regulator valve. From talking to other plumbers these valves typically last 10... read more

Our technician was on site 10.16.18 to diagnose a "horn-like" sound coming from the walls when water is running. He diagnosed the sound to be coming from the pressure regulator valve. He informed the homeowner that he feels the internal mechanism is beginning to fail and suggested replacement of the valve. Our technician also noticed that the home did not have a main shut off valve and suggested that he have one installed in case of emergency. We provided an estimate to replace the pressure regulator valve and install a... read more
I asked for someone to help install a hands-free motion sensor faucet in our in home daycare bathroom and they were unable to help us. I do not think it was fair that they charged us $135 and were only in our home less than 2 minutes and did nothing. I was told that a manager would call me to discuss the fee and was hoping to at least get credit for future service but nobody called me. The technicians were rude and said that our home (which was built in the 70s) was too old and not worth it to invest a new sink that would be... read more
Business response:
Hi Corinna, Our technician was called to install a modern motion control faucet that you had purchased in your bathroom. Unfortunately, this type of faucet is not compatible with your existing sink. The holes did not match up - the faucet is single hole and your sink has three holes. Our technician provided a few different solutions for this issue 1) order a cover plate for your new chosen faucet to be used with your current sink, 2) purchase a new sink which would be compatible with your chosen faucet or 3) purchasing a ... read more
Negative stars. My water heater developed ebola and leaked a ton of gas into my house the wee hours of the 4th of July. Emergency gas guys, blahblahblah, and finally my home warranty co. dispatched Proline. (PS, one of the NW Nat gas guys was a former water heater installer and posited it wasn't a big deal to switch the existing heater out.) Anyhoo, the Proline tech came out and told me a standard tank (like the one in the back of his truck) wouldn't fit under the house to replace the old tank, that I required a "specialty i... read more
Business response:
Hi Tracey, I am sorry you feel this way. Your service call was on July 4th and your warranty company as well as our suppliers and WH mfg were closed. Your water heater was a 1991 unit. The units made currently are larger because they are insulated better - that is why the one we had in the truck would not fit. We had to locate a WH that would fit into your limited size crawl space. We had suggested a tankless unit because of their compact size and the fact we find one locally. They are more expensive than a unit with a... read more
Here's the deal Lisa Your technicians didn't even step into our house. And they said they were certified to look at septic systems when I called for emergency services. But even bigger issue, why wouldn't your managers call me back? Three messages no call back. Obviously they have their money and don't care.
Business response:
Hi Dani, I am sorry you were not happy with the service provided. You called for service on Easter Sunday and emergency holiday rates applied. We were told that the only toilet in the home was clogged. Our technician was on site and determined that the sewer lines in the home were clear. He looked in the septic tank and saw liquid and waste to the top so he suggested septic pumping. You mentioned that the septic service used a stick to clear the something inside of the septic tank. Unfortunately we are not certified to... read more
