About this business

Restaurants

Chef and restaurateur Marcus Paslay (Clay Pigeon, Piattello Italian Kitchen, Walloon's) brings a from-scratch sensibility and distinct culinary vision to the Stockyards’ Mule Alley development with Provender Hall. Its name a hat-tip to the area’s cattle-centric history, Provender Hall offers Paslay’s luscious take on American comfort food, with a playful menu spanning grilled trout to chicken gumbo to steak frites. Salads and sides such as crispy okra, braised greens and cheddar-cheese grits are also on offer.

Came here after Ático with the family on a Sunday evening. We wanted to try it because we had heard good things and a good oyster happy hour. Unfortunately oyster happy hour wasn't going on on Sunday but that's ok. So. We were seated upstairs. Ambiance was sort of odd and it was definitely noisy, almost like you're in the second story of a classy barn. We ordered a bottle of wine and some cocktails. All tasty. Then, we ordered some tartare (not too shabby) and oysters (small and tasty mignonette). For entree, we got the shri... read more

Had dinner here Friday 6-18-21. The fried green tomatoes appetizer was excellent. I had the shrimp and grits, it was a little spicy but I enjoyed it. My wife had the steak frites (excellent). The service was outstanding, walked up and seated right away and our waiter was top notch. Other places on exchange are going to get a run for their $ as word gets out about this new dining option.

Incredible adventure two weeks ago at Provender Hall--a very busy Saturday evening at the prime 7:00-9:00 hours. Our evening turned sideways an hour before our reservation when we were supposed to meet guests at Atico a couple blocks away on the rooftop patio of Springhill Suites, where we intended to take in the view of the stockyards. Weather and crowds didn't cooperate. Rain dashed hopes of an obtaining an outdoor table and we had to wait for our guests to arrive. We weren't going to make our reservation at Provender so... read more

Great place to dine and have drinks with friends in Fort Worth Loved the interior (modern and rustic) Been here a few times and service is always impeccable! Friendly, fun and very accommodating staff, even when very busy Starters are the best here and the beer is the coldest in the DFW metroplex so far Support this business!

Great atmosphere. Stellar service from Kyle every time I've been. Started with delicious pimento cheese app, burger was and awesome smash style and homemade fries. The fries needed a bit longer in the frier for my taste. Skirt steak was great, came with a great chimichurri sauce. Huge selection of Liquor. Will be back for sure!

Fantastic food, great service and great recommendations, which is helpful when not familiar with the location. Highly recommend and get the skillet cornbread as a starter.

Provender Hall is fabulous restaurant with an incredible ambiance, a great menu (foodies will LOVE!) and the customer service is second-to-none. Recently hosted at 22 people dinner with a set menu, and the entire team went above and beyond. Looking for a memorable dining experience in the Fort Worth Stockyards, this is the place!

This was one of my most enjoyable meals in a VERY long time! Service was excellent and the food was perfect. Pimento Cheese and Deviled egg appetizers were spot on. Steak Frites and wedge salad were amazing.

My husband and I took our parents here for their first time at the stockyards, I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. The venison tartar and raw oysters were out of this world (especially the pink ladies). The salad wedge, burger, catfish and Texas redfish were to die for. I highly recommend this place if you are visiting the stockyards and want to have a wonderful evening.
