About this business

Restaurants

Chef and restaurateur Marcus Paslay (Clay Pigeon, Piattello Italian Kitchen, Walloon's) brings a from-scratch sensibility and distinct culinary vision to the Stockyards’ Mule Alley development with Provender Hall. Its name a hat-tip to the area’s cattle-centric history, Provender Hall offers Paslay’s luscious take on American comfort food, with a playful menu spanning grilled trout to chicken gumbo to steak frites. Salads and sides such as crispy okra, braised greens and cheddar-cheese grits are also on offer.

Amazing service. Food was great. Awesome restaurant choice near the Stockyards. Charles was our server and he was the absolute best!

Delicious food, which is also locally sourced. The cornbread nearly melts in your mouth. The steak was delicious. The drinks were great. And the service was quick and knowledgeable! Cute date night spot in the stockyards.

So delicious. If you want somewhere quieter ask to sit downstairs. Such a good variety and everything is delicious! Their fried green tomatoes are to die for!! I got the country fried steak with masked potatoes and fried okra and it was so yummy.

We were really excited to try this place, but were ultimately underwhelmed. The restaurant itself had a really great atmosphere and the service was friendly. I started with a hibiscus mezcal margarita, which was delicious. From there, it was downhill. All of the food tasted extremely dumbed down, like the chef was afraid of offending our palates with any hint of seasoning, certainly not what I would expect from a restaurant at this price point. For our first course, we ordered the skillet cornbread and Caesar salad to... read more

Great restaurant with a fun atmosphere! Good location as it's right off of Mule Alley in the stockyards. The Fried Green Tomato and Skillet Cornbread were amazing appetizers, highly recommend and perfect for sharing. The Steak Frites was good with great French fries, but I'm not a fan of chimchurri topping on the steak. Our waitress was pretty short with us and in a hurry to turn tables, but other than that it was a great meal and I would go again!

Emily and Doug really made this place feel so welcoming. My significant other and I were looking for somewhere to enjoy a cold cocktail on a hot day and boy did we choose right. Their drinks were delicious, their oysters were yummy, and the service was amazing and friendly. Couldn't recommend this place more highly. The atmosphere would be perfect for hosting larger events as well.

Great drinks. We started with an old fashion and a grilled romaine salad. Great food and atmosphere!

We came here for my birthday in May and man were we so GLAD we did!!! Our waiter Matt was super nice and gave great recommendations of food and drinks. Food came out quickly but paced and they even split some items for us so we wouldn't have to since we ordered a variety of things to share. The atmosphere was super awesome with big windows to see the stockyards activity. It's conveniently located in the middle of the stockyards as well. The food was absolutely amazing we tried a little bit of everything. Zero complaints here... read more

This place is an absolute must if you're coming down Fort Worth. Most people think of steak and bbq down by the stockyard. But Provender was the perfect meal while walking around and seeing the sights. We will absolutely recommend to our friends and will be coming back again. Also, I can't go without recognizing our waiter who was extremely kind and patient with us. Jordan deserves praise for his amazing service, I wish all my employees worked with this great attitude.
