Food is so good! Always upgrade to the French fries. Great patio and people watching. One of my new favorites!
The steak was melt in your mouth delicious, the charred salad was also amazing. Nice, quiets and romantic atmosphere. Definitely want to go back!
Bring back the OYSTERS! I was crushed to find out they took oysters off the menu! There isn't a place in the stockyards that has good oysters (don't you even try and say Attico bc no-they are terrible). Oysters OYSTERS OYSTERS!!!!
It's been a couple years since I've been back to the Stockyards and I HADDD to come back for the smoked trout dip, which was just as good as I remembered. Tried the Turkey club this time as well which was super tasty. My favorite thing is to sit out on the patio for the endless people watching. But what made this whole experience back at the yards even better was our server, Evan. Just his outgoing personality as he chatted with us like old friends and cackling hens. Aside from the great food and fantastic drinks - which, ... read more
Came here on a Saturday. Was out and about at the bars and wanted a bite to eat. Sat at the bar. Service was a bit slow. Eventually got an Old Fashioned was premade I believe but fine. Then ordered a burger and that was worth it. Was amazing. Tasted similar to an In and Out Burger. Would come back just for the burger!
This is a nice find in Cowtown on Exchange street. Definitely a nice change from the usual BBQ or steak houses in the area. They used to have a venison tartar app that certainly got our attention and was unusual for DFW but excellent. We ate at the bar next to two cowboys and had a great time. The next time we came back, we reserved a table. The ambiance upstairs was nice. I had steak and frites which had a good steak, tender and cooked to order. Good food and drinks and we'll go back for sure.
This place exceeded all expectations! Came on a Friday night with no reservations and was able to get a a seat outside. Enjoyed the Slow Smoked Beef Rib for 2. Meat was tender and to die for! Also recommend the cheese grits and crispy okra!
We showed up to the stockyards for lunch and WHEW there were lines out every door. It seemed like we hit the cheat code with this place, it opened a little later so we happened upon it at open and snuck a bar seat pretty easily. This place is really unique and cool, especially for the area. We walked into a couple musty pubs that are VERY fitting for the area, but not for us. This spot is open, airy, and clean. Whoever designed it did a great job. Sitting at the bar was great - service was fantastic. Drinks and food came o... read more
The service was great, got our food quickly, and the waitress and hostess were lovely. However, the deviled eggs were not good. Tasted very sweet and for someone who loves mayo, I couldn't taste any of the sort. I was looking for a bit of spice too and it just tasted like eating candy deviled eggs. The chips and queso were good, but nothing to talk much about. The drinks were great. The environment was pretty and the bathrooms, weird comment, were so nice!
