Buy your batteries with product Great product but just remember to purchase your AAA batteries with it!
HORRIBLE battery eater Just threw it out .. still likely working but this ATE batteries while ON or OFF.
Eh, it's OK - works Not a big fan of them making it not backward compatible with other identical print cartridges - you have to buy all the new ones, who's only difference is they have an extra hole and the machine checks to make sure it's the new style - kind of lame on Brother's part - forcing you to replace all your old tape.
Poor Instructions The instructions are poor, when I tried to follow the instructions for creating different labels on the same length same piece of tape (called chain printing) in order to not waste almost an inch of the tape at the beginning of each printing it did not work. I tried to contact support via e-mail, that didn't work; I tried to contact them via chat and all agents were busy so I called them and got help. Cutter breaks after a week I bought this 1 week ago and the cutter has already broken. Fail.
Very nice The machine itself is fine but it takes 6 AAA batteries to operate and they drain fast. I noticed a plug in on the back for direct electricity and I thought that was included. I feel like an electrical plug in cord should have been provided for what I paid plus i bought 4 extra label cartridges. I like the product but I feel like I was cheated a bit on the power source. I think the manufacturer should send me a free cord because I will use it a lot or I will just buy another brand that includes the electrical cord.... read more
True Rip-off The way this machine is constructed you have to waste half the tape in "margins". Way too expensive to use. I am initiating a return.
Making sure that everything has a place...and a label! One of my goals for 2019 is to get our home organized. I want everything to clearly have a place that it belongs. If everything has an address, a label on a container or shelf, it will be easier to know what goes where, especially when I’m not there for the family to ask where it goes. Labels are also nice for sticking information, like emergency phone numbers in places they might be needed, like the door jamb of the utility closet or under-sink cabinets, where cleaners ... read more
Works well, except for waste tape As expected, works well. Wastes at least an inch of tape as the start and end of each label print.
