DONT BUY THIS TERRIBLE LABELER DO NOT BUY THIS! This labeler waste a loooooot of tape. I hates it. If i could i would return it right away. Do not buy this, seriously. This is terrible.
The Largest size is still small It's okay. I had the dymo and wish I would have purchased a replacement for that (the batteries got corroded). The largest font that this thing prints out is still pretty small and doesn't fill the height of the tape.
Great product with cheap execution. I'm a fan of these label makers. It beats printing labels on a laserjet or an inkjet when needing something fast and in small quantity. In this case, it took a bit longer to get the required accessories such as a power cable or batteries. Label came out of the box useless. No batteries included nor power cable. I'm still wondering how Brothers could have delivered such product without power cable. I can understand if they don't include the batteries but how do you expect a customer to use ... read more
I like the very cheap machine price. Machine prices are fairly cheap. However, cartridge prices are not. Cartridge waste is very severe. It seems that the cartridges sell to cover the value of the machine.
The WORST! Garbage! Not only do you need six AAA batteries then you need to plug it in with a cord. You only sample tape, which means you have to order AGAIN. I just threw it in the trash. Who needs the headache?
Unviewable LCD, don’t do it! I though I would replace my old brother label printer as this one was on sale for the price of the cartridge. The screen is unusable at any LCD setting. Complete waste of money. Don’t do it no matter the price
expensive tape, but if you Make the right setting, it will not be pricy to print This is a solid label printer. Make sure adjust the text spacing before you print. the preset has very large spacing between the text. It waste a lot of tape, and tapes are expensive. If you need to print multiple identical labels, try set number of copies and print all at once, if you print one at a time, the label spacing will eat a lot of tapes too. Use it wisely you will save a lot of money on tapes
Powering this device is a pain in the 4$$ This printer worked for about four or five labels after putting in 6 new AAA rechargeable batteries. It depletes the batteries, if you don't remove them. Since then it only prints exactly five letters and then complains about drained batteries. Recharging the batteries doesn't help - same result. Then I bought a charger with 9V and max 2A (the printer says 9V 6W, so 2A is more than enough). Guess what: doesn't work! Without batteries it doesn't power up. With batteries and unplugged ... read more
Wastes too much tape! CONS: wastes too much tape. I spoke to Brother's customer service and was sent a link where it explains that due to the fact that the printer head is 1" from the cutter, there will always be 1" space before the first letter and the last, unless you use the "Chain Printing" feature. For this you must have a pair of scissors handy to trim each label. I suggest Brother goes back to the drawing board! The images on the box are deceiving. They dont show the 2" of tape wasted per label. This waste of tape sho... read more
