Starter Tape Not Included Item description states it will come with starter tape and it was not included. Inconvenient.
Wasting a lot of label This product prints nicely; however, a lot of label is wasted bc of un-necessary margins. This product is NOT economic at all.
So far so good with a few concerns I like this label maker (I literally got it today and I used it for a few minutes). My two concerns: 1. There is no adapter - very bizarre. It takes 6 AAA batteries and I know I will get annoyed after a while with that so I guess I have no choice but to buy an adapter (I will look for the cheapest one and it will not be from Brother). 2. Waste of tape........ Received as a gift. Ugh! This wastes a huge amount of tape at the start of print. AND you have to manually cut the wasted tape, leaving a unfinished cut end, unless you can cut perfectly every time. First and last time I buy a brother label maker. What a scam.
Arrived broken This product arrived broken. It’s still sitting on my desk because I can’t use it.
May work for some, but not for me! This was nice and all, but this device couldn’t even power-up with 6 AAA batteries and what’s sad about it is that the power adapter is sold separately. Bummer!

Bought on sale, and now I know why it was so cheap Doesn't come with an ac adapter, and I have a ton of adapters from various items I have tossed or recycled over the years. Would one work? No. When I found the right kind (DC + -) with the right voltage I got a message that flashed on the screen saying some proprietary garbage. Looks like rechargeable batteries for this.
