Battery message issue Hi-Bought this, we barely use it, and have had to change the 6 batteries three times. It only printed maybe 3 or 4 tapes before the "battery empty" message comes up and it won't print. We had an older version of this and used it for years without ever having to change the batteries. Find a different model for a P Touch labeler, this one is not good.
CHARGER SOLD SEPARATELY IS RIDICULOUS I would love to write a review of the actual product but it just arrived and since the charger is sold separately, I have no idea how well it works. This is dumb. I shouldn't have to dig through the product description to notice that there is something else I need to purchase in order for the label maker to work. Boo.
Display was very dim and not usable. The display was so dark I could not use it. I followed the instructions regarding the screen contrast, no results. I returned it.
Need to check soacing so that you do not waste ribbon I used it to label my son"s school supplies. I wish it came with a bigger size strip in the package
This particular item does not come with the power adapter I had to purchase a separate adapter cord for this item, very disappointed in that. It was an extra $9!!!! UGH
Tape waste is out of control I can't believe how much tape is wasted with this unit. Expensive tape that is. And the fact that the only work around is to print a bunch of labels together than hand cut is not a good fix, If i'm using this at work I don't have time to carry around scissors and cut each of the 50+ labels I use per day. Now I understand why this product is so cheap.
Great but ac adapter does not work I like this easy to use label maker but the ac adapter that came with it does not work, which is really disappointing.
Do not buy this label maker. Brother is intentionally trying to screw you. Whoever's responsible for the anti-consumer design practices should be locked in a dark closet for the rest of his life with just enough Lego bricks that he'll never not step on one. Only thing I don't like is that there is a lot of space on ... Use it a lot and works well! Only thing I don't like is that there is a lot of space on the sides. Waste of space.
