Display is horrible; very hard to read 1. Display is horrible; very hard to read, must hold unit just the right angle to the light to read. 2. Huge waster of tape: You have to waste a least 1" of tape for every label. So, to print a single letter "A" you have to use 1 3/8" of tape, then get scissors to cut off the blank 1". If you use the default setting, that letter "A" would take up 2 3/8" of tape. This machine is designed to sell tape. I would not recommend.

Not suitable for bulk work. A novelty at best. Performs as it should, but other reviewers are correct in that it eats more tape than it should. Even when reducing the margins, tab, and label length to the bare minimum, it still discards an inch of blank tape with every new label. This adds up quickly. The manufacturer's website admits this is a result of the design of the machine, and it would be callous of me to say that this was deliberate, but I will say it can't be hurting their profit margins at all. Nevertheless, if yo... read more

AC adapter is “optional” and not included. Haven’t used it yet because it didn’t come with an adapter. Lesson learned. Read the FULL description that says AC adapter is an optional accessory. It could run on six AA batteries, but who wants to go through that many batteries? Adapter costs almost as much as the unit. 😤

Good But... I like this label maker. It's relatively easy to use and figure out the options. But the batteries seem to die so quickly. For that reason I would look at other models if I needed to make a purchase again.

Confusing and clunky interface, but solid performance For being the top seller I was a bit disappointed. The interface is clunky and confusing, United much harder time with simple tasks like changing font size or selecting numbers than I have with similar brands. If you can get past the interface, everything else is fine, and you have many extra options you won't have with a basic label maker.

but Garbage. Not sure if it's the actual machine or ... Bought this at another store, but Garbage. Not sure if it's the actual machine or the cassette itself. The cassette or machine malfunctions causing the writing to print on the black stencil instead of the actual label. This has happened to brand new cassette as soon as I take the plastic wrapping off. Be weary, if you need a label maker on site for work make sure you buy extra cartridges (which will cost you ) or look for other alternatives all together.

Wastes too mush label material Replacing an old unit only to find that this label maker wastes lots of label material at the front of every label. I have to cut to size with sizzors, which I never needed to do before.

You lose 1 inch + label with every print job. Does everything it says, but man does it try to waste as much tape as possible. For every label you lose 1" for no reason other than the device leaves it blank. So that means your gonna get just 6 labels for every foot of tape. They worked it just like ink cartridges. 100 labels for your starter. 300 labels for the next roll. Real slimey move. It's like a printer purposely using twice as ink.
