Works but could be better It gets the job done but I don't like the way it wastes the expensive tape by feeding too much blank tape after each word. I read a strategy online for how to mitigate this - by waiting until you have several labels to print and putting the text close together. Then you must use scissors to separate your labels. I also don't like the fact that the A/C adapter and case must be purchased separately, racking up the cost more. This is the first label maker I have owned so I can't compare it to any other... read more

I'm disappointed.. I'm disappointed... It doesn't turn on! I tried different brands of batteries just in case, and it still does not work. I have no clue what's wrong with it or how to fix it. It's defective.

stupid design! or am i missing something This thing stinks! It prints a ton of blank space with each label meaning i have to cut every label w scissors. stupid design! or am i missing something? I have one of their cheapest oldest designs and it doesn't waste tape like this and I don't have to manually cut each label down to size with scissors! Seems like a scam to waste tape and force you to buy it more often.

Great Label maker So far the P-Touch has worked as explained. I like how the back of the tape is split, which makes it iasy to mount and remove the backing

Doesnt come with a power cable Havent tested it out yet, as it does not come with a cable, which is pretty annoying in a world where literally everything comes with a cable these days.. Maybe I'm being spoiled but at least you can use 8 batteries instead.

Wastes a lot of Tape I bought this when there was a lightening deal and got it for only $10. I find it easy to use, and it was quick for me to get the hang of it in the beginning. As others have said, it wastes a lot of tape. I often find myself cutting off the ends of my labels to make them look better because there is so much blank space. I suppose it was worth it since I got it for such a low price; I would not purchase again if it was much more than $10.

The one big glaring issue is waste (but before and after) is waste Read the reviews and youtube "how to's", etc. The one big glaring issue is waste (but before and after) is waste. There are settings that can help mitigate this, such as planning ahead if you have multiple labels and doing them all at once. Seems most companies do this to some extent as they want you to buy more label making material!

Cost a bunch in the long run.... Works good and does what it says it will. However, a wee bit difficult to figure out and the tape... going to go through it pretty quick. I returned it because the cost of extended use is prohibitive.
