I didnt realize that a cord was not included for ... I didnt realize that a cord was not included for this product and needs to be purchased separately. I feel that needs to be stated clearly before purchase. I bought a generic cord for it later at walmart and it wouldnt work for the product. IT makes you actually purchase the brother cord.

I can barely read the LCD screen. I peeled ... I can barely read the LCD screen. I peeled off the protective cover, adjusted contrast, nothing seems to make any difference. I can'ttell if it's even on or off

Defective manufacturing – stay away! These shouldn't even be sold by Amazon. The battery compartments are defective and not made for the AAA batteries. The battery terminals do not make contact in any of the three slots. Additionally the second layer of batteries is too low to make contact with the terminals on the second layer. Shoddy, shoddy, shoddy manufacturing.

Works with tape from 0.13 (3.5 mm) to 0.47" (12 mm). This label maker produces laminated self-adhesive labels. It take label tape that ranges from 0.13 (3.5 mm) to 0.47" (12 mm). It DOES NOT take 1" tape even though many compatible label tape makers state their tape is compatible with PT-D210 P-Touch the 1" tape does not fit (the case cannot be closed). The package includes the label maker, instructions, and a short sample label tape (black on white). The label maker can run on batteries (six AAA batteries) or AC adapter cor... read more

Margins are too long Margins are too long. Ending margin can be reduced in setting, but starting margin is always there, and on top of that, it prints a ':' before the text. This label maker just wastes tape and forces you to use scissors to remove unwanted margins (if you don't want one inch of nothing before and after your text) In retrospect, I should have bought the DYMO LabelManager 160 which can produce labels with small margins (according to the pictures in the review there)

I love it. I love it... once I figured out how to use it. I wish I can control the amount of white space before and after each label ... kind of wasting tape since I have to cut them off for every label.

Too complicated and some things are impossible to figure out I had an older and simpler labeler which broke. It was a Brother and I was happy with it. Since that one is no longer available, I bought this one - which I regret. After setting it up the screen was very poorly illuminated. The instructions to increase illumination are as follows: menu, then left arrow/right arrow +LCD contrast, then ok then left arrow/right arrow -2-1/0+1/+2, then "ok". I"m going to work some more on it but it is not worth my while to have such a... read more

Not great, capabilities look promising but having serious problems It's just okay. The first one I ordered had an incredibly dim screen readout, to the point that it could not be read, whether I was using the Brother AC adapter (which costs as much as the printer) or six AAA batteries. I returned it to Amazon for an exchange and the one that has arrived is just slightly better but not at all easily readable. How much juice does it take to power a small screen? I don't want to go through the process of returning it but it's r... read more
