That's dumb! It didn't come with the AC adapter. That's dumb!
Buyer Beware: dead at 16 months (12 month warranty). Customer service is a waste of time. Summary (TL;DR): Don't keep extra cartridges on hand once you're out of warranty. Long version: I bought the PT-D210 16 months ago. Worked fine while it worked. It does waste a bit of tape. To be expected with a razor/razor-blade business model. But, I don't expect to have to keep buying razors (printers). In my case, I have put only three cartridges through it and it stops feeding tape. I called the customer support line and spent half... read more
Time to toss this in the trash! This is the most frustrating label maker I've ever used! NOT user friendly at all. There is so much waste. You can't adjust the label to print without having to cut off excess with scissors. Not cool. It is very frustrating to try to customize simple things like font and size of font. I tried putting a border around it and now the text is not centered inside the border. I purchased this model because I had an old Brother P-Touch that was very easy to use. Loved it. This newer model not so much... read more
Wastes a lot of label paper and doesn't come with AC adapter, but otherwise a good purchase It does what it is supposed to do (print labels) but it wastes a lot (whole lot) of the sticker paper. The image is a bit misleading as the print does not begin at the edge of the paper but is centered. This ends up wasting a ton of the label paper. The batter life has been great and print quality have been great so far. I would give an extra star if it came with the AC adapter and didn't waste so much label paper.
Died after a dozen uses. Bad customer service. We used ours about a dozen times and the it died, sadly. I went online to talk to the Brother support, and they were not helpful at all. I would encourage you to buy something more reliable.
Broken - 1 month our of warranty Stopped working after 13 months of very light use. Had an older version that lasted for years.
Watch Out! Brother label makers are notorious for using up batteries quickly (e.g. 6 batteries for 1 label). I got the PT-D210 with the optional AC adapter to circumvent this known defect and it arrived DOA and I had to return it.
The setting was easy to use but the front sizes was little odd ... The battery part was so wasteful and unthoughtful design. It uses 6 triple A batteries and it only lasted me 10 minutes. Not practical. The setting was easy to use but the front sizes was little odd or doesn't match up when you uses a frame design.
Three Stars too much waste on labels
