Need help How do I ask a couple of questions? I cannot figure out how to make the screen brighter. I followed the directions, but still too dark. Also, can't figure out how to start a totally new label. The prior one still shows up and runs into my new one.
It does not come with all attachments example no plug to plug it in wall no tapes to use biggest waste of money and timefor me I will go to ... Took two months to arrive. Label maker is nice. A litlte perturbed because the layout of the listing on Amazon made it appear it came with a protective carrying case with a big picture. Looking now it DOES say "optional" in small wording underneath but the listing was unintentionally (?) misleading. But the reason I'm giving it three stars is because I'm annoyed that I bought this on sale back on Black Friday($9.99) and it took two months to arrive. Other than that I love it. The refills are pricey and it wastes a lot. Other than that I love it.
Annoying blank spaces at beginning and end of labels I had a P-Touch from years ago that I liked, but it finally gave out. The new one makes a very large blank space at the beginning and end of each label, apparently so that it uses up the cartridge faster and Brother makes more money. I honestly wouldn't mind too much just paying extra for the cartridges, but now I get a label with the better part of an inch on both ends that's blank. Three Stars Doesn’t come with cord
One Star Not satisfied from start to finish.
I was excited when it arrived but it would not ... I was excited when it arrived but it would not power on. What a piece of junk a power supply cord and 6 new batteries and it would not even turn on.
and doesn't waste as much label This labeler prints about 3/4" of blank label on each side of text. So each label is wasting about 1.5". The old label printers did not do this, so clearly this is an attempt to simply sell more label refills. If you print a one word label, you will cut and throw away more label than is used. Also, this printer is needlessly complex. Basically, my old trusty P-touch home and hobby from about 10 years ago, is smaller, has less features, is easier to use, and doesn't waste as much label.
