Much better than a comparably priced DYMO! UPDATE: I like this a LOT better after trying a comparably priced DYMO label maker. The DYMO always wastes tape. At least the Brother models give you an option to avoid wasting tape if you plan to print several different labels at once. This has MANY more frames and fonts than the DYMO has.
Two Stars Wastes too much tape.
Wastes tape Wastes a lot of tape at beginning and end of every label.
RIP OFF does not come with power cord uses 6 AAA batteries, and the first piece of paper is a number to call Brother to order one for the low low price of only 28.00 dollars that's MORE than the entire printer cost. While it's my fault for not reading every word before I bought it, it still makes me mad. I can promise you one thing Brother I will never buy any of your other products.
but I wasted more than I used Can I send this product back? I opened it and used the cartridge (I'll pay for that), but I wasted more than I used. This will not be cost effective in my opinion.
Three Stars As advertised
Wanted the new embellishment one from Michaels for $59 but ... Wanted the new embellishment one from Michaels for $59 but someone on you tube said that this was very similar to it. Then to my surprise Amazon had it on sale from $36 to $19. I only wish that Brothers wasn't so cheap and included an adapter will all their label makers.
WAY TOO BIG Gigantic. Huge. Enormous. It's the size of a small laptop computer. Also, it wastes about half of every label with blank space. That uses up the expensive tape fast. I cannot believe how big it is. It's just too big. I returned it.
Avoid this label maker! It never worked, was DOA. Unfortunately I wasn't able to test it right when I got it and due to their terrible return policy I was unable to swap it for another. Avoid this product.
