Eats batteries Great labels but it burns through batteries like crazy, even when turned OFF. Get one that plugs in.
doesn't work. Haven't had time to return it. doesn't work. Haven't had time to return it.
nice but seems fragile It worked well, many options and all that but I dropped it from about a foot onto a wooden desk and that killed it. The next one will be screwed down to the desk. Also, they seemed to have made it a little more knock-off-label proof. Beware that older knockoff label tapes won't fit. Perhaps new ones will. dunno.
Insanely Bad This label maker discharges after around 2 weeks requiring SIX new AAA batteries. This is my second product from Brother: the first was a printer that constantly claimed it was out of toner and would no longer print even when there was clearly plenty of toner. does not fit all TZ type tapes cartridges like it says does not fit all TZ type tapes cartridges like it says. I bought this because I had so many leftover and none fit.
Good machine with a flaw The label maker is fine. I took one star off because of the tiny tabs you're supposed to push out of the way when changing tapes. Whoever designed that part must have incredibly small hands. It's difficult to get a grip on the little tabs if you have normal human male hands or larger. Stuffing a tool in there to push the tab seems like a bad idea because the plastic doesn't feel all that strong. Sooner or later one of those tabs will break, and then it's MacGyver time. And just in case it's not clear... read more
Horrible product. I only need to print one label ... Horrible product. I only need to print one label at a time like most normal humans. Doing this leaves MORE MARGIN THAN PRINTED LABEL! On the Brother website forums they even admit "It is a design flaw"
