Two Stars Not exactly what I was expecting,no cord charger no extra stickers
I'd bought this product in May and it was great UNTIL it stopped working today I'd bought this product in May and it was great UNTIL it stopped working today. I'd tried changing out the batteries and even have the adapter for it.. and it's not turning back on..
It's 2017 This seemed like a good idea to label items in containers in my kitchen and items in storage. But the reality? Paper/ribbon/cassette thingey gets stuck. Who has interest in troubleshooting that? Returned when it got jammed on the 2nd label I was making. Bought myself some chalkboard labels with a chalkboard pen instead and happy I gave up.
At 2nd use, destined for the junkyard - don't buy "Battery Empty" error when the unit IS PLUGGED INTO THE WALL with a charger. If I insert brand-new batteries in addition to having it plugged in, I get the same "Battery Empty" message. It cannot be ignored, because only the first 3/8" of the label prints out, and the rest of the tape is blank. This happened the second time I used it, 2.5 months after purchase. My previous Brother label maker worked for years. This one is junk.
Not a fan! I had a brother for over 10 years, which I loved, but it recently stopped working. Thought this would be just as good and user friendly. Not!! It wastes tape like no body's business. I constantly have to change the setting depending on the length of what I type. I keep the instructions on my desk for constant reference. Now, no matter what I do, I can't get rid of the two little dots where you should cut the label. That's another thing, I hate having to cut the label. I'd give them a 5-start rating if they didn't run ... I'd give them a 5-start rating if they didn't run off ~1" of tape on each side of the label.
Tape waster The amount of wasted tape with each label printed is ridiculous, as is the price of purchasing the tape cartridges. The machine itself is fine.
Good price on Amazon Good price on Amazon. Everywhere else was high. I use a/c plug. Goes through tape like a bandit tho, even with techniques to save it.
After 6 months went to use it and the amazon ... After 6 months went to use it and the amazon provided batteries leaked all over and ruined the unit. The blue fluid is acid from batteries.
