I recently moved and have everything labeled and in its respective tote. To save labels, I type out multiple words before printing and then cut each apart with scissors. Otherwise, you waste about a half inch before the word and a half inch after.

Doesn't come with power adapter When you spend 30 bucks on a label maker it should come with a power adapter. Sure kills the value of the product when you have to go out and purchase one separately.

Wastes labels but works great The manual is easy to follow and I was able to start making labels in minutes. It has a lot of really cute icons that can be added to the label to make it more creative. The only issue I have is the way this machine wastes labels due to blank space. The labels are expensive so it can get frustrating. There is a way to prevent so much waste by typing several labels with space in between before you print, then cut manually. You have to mess around with it to get your spacing right. The manual expl... read more

Frustrating and overly complex Frustrating to use. I replaced my small green P-Touch PT-65 because I wanted one that was a little easier to type on and a little more flexible in the fonts, etc but the PT-D210 model is really frustrating. I use the labeller for file folders and cables. It prints a 1" (minimum) left margin, even when you set it to narrow margins (a physical limitation of the location of the cutter inside the device.) This means that you almost always need to use scissors which is very frustrating and a deal-br... read more

Take a careful look at the little hole on the labeler where the power cord plugs into the labeler and you will find a faint impr Advice regarding the 9V AC-DC power adapter: most power adapters will not work on this labeler, but if you are handy around the house, then there is a simple fix if you have a soldering gun and volt meter. I have a PT-D210 label maker, but I did not buy it via Amazon, but rather through a local store. At the time of purchase, I was concerned about buying lots of AAA batteries to power this labeler ... read more

In my experience, the unit jams every time. ... In my experience, the unit jams every time. The problem arises from the cutting button is position on the body - After being cut, the tape, which is naturally curled due to the cartridge storing it in a roll, curls inward a bit. The cut button cuts the tape ribbon too far away from the exit, so when you press 'print' on your next label rather than exiting through the 'cut' passage, the tape will curl back into the body and jam the machine. Definitely a design flaw that I am cer... read more

One Star it does a lot of unnecessary waste. I am not saying I can't afford the 17 dollars label, I don't like the way they waste the label.
