You have to buy that separate for an additional 10 dollars on Amazon. Would have opted to purchase a little bit more expensive one to get all these pieces included. I would not recommend this product for the price. Wanted to return it but then realized I would have to pay for the return as well. Waste of 10 bucks. Not worth the headache and disappointed in this purchase.

I was tired of toting my home labeler back and forth to work, so decided to pony up for a work one. Looks like the new P-touches all have a ton of wasted margin space (seems suspicious to me, waste a lot of tape on your machines so people have to buy more of YOUR tape), compared to the older model. This is unacceptable to me, despite the work-arounds people have come up with. I also don't need frames/graphics/etc... read more
but there was UNACCEPTABLE waste of tape with each and every label It worked as a printer, but there was UNACCEPTABLE waste of tape with each and every label. This is a widely reported and known problem with Brother label makers. Research it and BELIEVE IT!
Everything Labeled Nice label maker. I did buy, separately, the AC cord to save on batteries. Does not come with one.

Cautionary tale I bought this at Office Depot. Just a warning tale here. I have tons of trouble with the feeding of the tape. I have theories as to why. But at one point my tape would not feed out. I had to open the P touch up (like you do when you replace batteries or change tapes.) and I discovered that the tape had double backed on itself. I should have returned it right then I did not I opened it up took out a removable piece ,there is jargon for the piece I am sure , It is basically the top tape guide and cutter. Remove... read more
Just like my old one Just like my old one. Nothing new. Discount labels ordered at the same time would not fit. Labels way too expensive. Comes with just enough labels to send you back to the store for more. Sucky way o sell a machine.
Impulse Buy that I'll Never Take for Granted! You can never take for granted a label maker. There's font sizes, different font types, symbols, emoticons, different label colors, anything a label user would want. I've used these labels to put my name on my gadgets, name cables, etc. The labels are still there months later. None have fallen off. This was an impulse buy when it was on sale and I have no regrets!
