Unfortunately I missed the deadline for returning this terrible product. After calling Brother Unfortunately I missed the deadline for returning this terrible product. After calling Brother.com, to try getting some help on a rather simple problem, their solution did not work. The problem is that I cannot control the size of the font on the device. Unlike prior models, this model simply ignores the "commands" such that whatever size I indicate comes out in tiny print. Absolutely useless. Last time I try getting the least expe... read more
Don't forget the OPTIONAL power cord !!! Who sells a product that you can't power up with out the OPTIONAL power cord and forces you to buy 6 batteries at a time? Seriously, those cheap chargers are pennies from China, I have dozens of them and I've had to search through all of them to find a 9v. I haven't even turned this one on & I already hate it.
NO AC ADAPTER or BATTERIES! I haven't tried it yet because it doesn't come with an AC adapter or batteries. You would think something this expensive would come with one or at least warn you to buy one. I tried opening the battery case to no avail. No directions on how to open it.

In the end it works out to be very slightly cheaper for the Brother. Definitely a good buy.

He tried printing the second label and it started making sounds. He tried couple more times. In the evening, my husband opened the unit and the tape was all coiled around. I couldn't stand to see the expression on my little boy's fa... read more
One Star Received a faulty printing cassette
A Bargain - Gets the job done. This "baby" label maker replaces an older PT310. It's significantly smaller and as a result, it doesn't accomodate the same size tapes. This model only uses the TZe tape ... and only up to .47 (12mm). My previous model allowed for wider tape. Beyond that, the menu system takes a bit of adjustment; but clearly Brother has attempted to make navigation of options easier to follow. Not quite sure how successful they were in this area. And after 25+ years with the other model, I keep expecting the l... read more
