One Star The printer only work once and now we can't get it ton work.
... it 4 stars it if weren't for all the wasted space on each label that you print I would give it 4 stars it if weren't for all the wasted space on each label that you print. We use labels for expressed milk for our newborn and go through labels quite often. There does not seem to be any logical reason for all of that wasted label for each print out.
Works well, wastes tape Works well. very handy to have around. But, as mentioned by other buyers, it does waste a lot of the tape.
Poor Instreuctions The instructions were written by someone with a doctorate in gibberish . Frustrating to figure out how to operate it.
I received two units, one with a "new sticker ... I received two units, one with a "new sticker snd the other refurbished, nether of which contained an AC power supply cord. I then learned from Brother that it must be purchased separately as an accessory., and that batteries may be used instead. I would think one or the other should be included, or a specific disclaimer regarding the need.
Nice but wasted tape is EXCESSIVE I do like this label maker, the fonts choices completely meet my needs. The only thing is that I wish I had listened to the other reviews about the excessive tape margins. The amount of wasted tape *really* bothers me and makes me less inclined to use this label maker. My Dymo in this respect was designed far better. This really is a design flaw that Brother should address. While the machine is nice, it wastes an EXTENSIVE amount of the expensive ... While the machine is nice, it wastes an EXTENSIVE amount of the expensive tape. There's roughly several inches of tape before and after every label you print that is left untouched. This is a complete waste and I can only assume it's to sell more tape. I will be returning mine.
Lots of bells and whistles but wastes soooo much tape! Ok this is the first time I've ever had an issue with a labeler. This one is really annoying and it wastes sooooo much tape! I spent 4 hours trying to figure out why the machine wouldn't just print words in a strip close together to avoid waste. My old Brother P Touch labeler allowed me to put words in a line and print a whole long strip of tape. Then I would just cut between the words so I could maximize each reel.
