‘Way too complicated This is just an insanely complicated piece of equipment. It is rare that I can produce labels that have the right sized letters in the correct font and without them being condensed. I know if I took a university course I could make this work. But it is so complicated as to be endlessly confusing.
Tedious but necessary I guess. Gentle reminder that this machine comes with everything but a source of power to use it right out of the box. AAA batteries shouldn't cost this company anything but they couldn't even give you 4 to start you off. I guess no one will be watching TV for the week until we get some new batteries. Then on a more technical scale.. if you press CLEAR, it'll clear all your formatting. Instructions are not perfect, but it will chain print. It's not user friendly at all. It wastes tape. No matter what you do, it will crank out blank space. I went to the menu and set it for chain mode, and it makes no difference. The instructions are folded a million times and are difficult to use since it is one sheet the size of a newspaper, and has more folds than an old fashioned road map. You can't flatten it out. Not Easy to Use - Requires too many keystrokes - Not intuitive This product is NOT easy to use. It requires way too many options and manual intervention to use it. Have tried to use it a few times. It requires "intervention" with another individual to figure out how to use it. Print Quality is fine. Small Size is not that small - More like 14 pt type on a page. Another irritant - once the tape is made and printed, it was totally by accident we learned you have to bend it in half in order to get the backing off. Would not buy... read more
Tape was bad! The tape for this wouldn't work and got jammed in the label maker so wasn't able to use it until I purchased some more tape. Very disappointed.
Works well but display is incredibly difficult to read. This product seems to do everything I need but the problem is the display is incredibly difficult to see. They use the thinnest fonts I have ever seen, and the lcd contrast adjustment makes very little difference. It doesn't seem to be just my unit either, as I have seen this on youtube with the same problem. Baffling how they couldn't implement a decent lcd screen. I'll probably keep it, but but it's irritating every time I look at it.
Good product, but uses the tape. This label maker does just fine, but wastes a lot of tape. I like the ability to customize what I'm printing, but it uses a lot of tape to print little labels. I would recommend this product because its easy to use and the cartridges that go with this do have a lot of tape on them, but just be aware.
Hard to figure out anything Very disappointed in this product. The screen is hard to read and very faded. You have to squint to see the screen because it’s so light. Adjusting the contrast does not help. Wasted nearly a roll of labels to get one I wanted. Still haven’t figured it out.
Piece of Garbage I should have put it back in the box and returned it the day it came in. Has been nothing but problems, would not turn on after using it once, put new batteries in and then it said no cassette when it has a brand new one in. If Amazon does not take it back it will be going in the garbage.
