see review why is it so hard to separate the tape using the tape separator on the back of the machine. cannot get the tape to enter the gap please reply or else I will be returning the printer.
Not worth it . Spend a few more $ for a better product. Tape would not feed or print tape, went through 4 AAA batteries in 30 minutes trying to get the product to work.
Can Barely read screen Can barely read the screen it is so faint. Thought at first had installed weak batteries, but tested just fine on volt meter.
Avoid … totally frustration! Impossible to remove the backing from the tape! The built in peeler simply does not work! The tape won’t go into the slot, and eventually you have bent the tape beyond use. I watched the official Brother video, thinking I was doing something wrong. In the video the demonstrator was having the same problem. Eventually saying you can just use your finger to peal it. Good luck with that. You get what you pay for. Hard to use. Too small print. Almost impossible to peel tape backing off. Built in device to remove tape backing totally useless.
It could be partly my age, but this little thing is complicated My older label maker, was so user friendly and did a lot of things. This new one I got because it had layout like a keyboard. However, after reading and rereading the instructions, could not get it to work for me. I finally got one label to print after it kept printing just the first 3 letters of what I wanted. Called tech support and he really was not that helpful, so am passing it on to my grandkids. :(
Low battery indicator even when batteries are brand new The low battery indicator light comes on after every print job. Print job stops halfway through if there are more than 20 characters.
Jams all the time The media could not be loaded. Disappointed. My old brother labeler worked great for over 10 years. This one didn't make it two months. Garbage.
This has made a total of 12 labels since February I have changed batteries 2 times and I have literally made maybe 12 labels. Tried to use today and once again it is not working. Very disappointing.
