2 Stars cause it does what it says HOWEVER Labels a little difficult to separate but I have ham-hocks for hands...keep that in mind.... Battery Low message the second time I turned it on. No big, I have rechargeables. Incomprehensible menu system but that's par for the course for anything from a label maker to a full out printer... But the thing that drove me to write a review: the number keys. The number keys. They printed the numbers over the Spaces Between the key you use to type it. Annoying, but I can memorize 'just use... read more

Unreliable Product I opened the box 2 months after purchase and it does not work. The print key requires it to be held for it to work. Then, it stopped working after the 7th label.

Unreliable and no useful documentation. NOT intuitive. . .just a tape eating monster! What a horrible product in so many ways. The print quality is pretty good, but getting it to print what you want is next to impossible. Eats tape and no documentation along with a horrible keyboard. This is just a machine meant to eat up tapes, annoy you, and help the manufacturer sell expensive tape cartridges. The 'manual' is a joke. One of the worst items I have ever seen AMAZON allow to be sold.

READ THE MATERIAL THAT IS IN THE BOX MARKING BOXES - NOTEBOOKS - SHELVES WITH BOOKS THERE ARE MANY COLOURS IN THE TAPES - CHECK AND ORDER SOME WHEN YOU BUY THE TAPE LABEL.

Too small! I would not recommend for an adult. The keyboard is just way too small to type!

stopped working The label maker stopped working. I replaced batteries twice but still got low battery warning and it would only print one character on my labels. Too late for return and now I'm stuck with all these tape refills I purchased. Have used Brother labelers over many years so not sure why this model is a dud. Maybe made in a different factory.

Unacceptable Battery Issue It does not matter how well it does ANYTHING if every time you want to use it, the batteries are dead. AND it won't power off when not in use. Brother should be ashamed to continue selling this piece of junk.

Not wasting 1" of blank tape like labelers that use TZ/TZe tapes, but... I was disappointed to see that labelers that use TZ/TZe tapes are wasting 1" of blank tape every time you print a label... Bad cassette design. This labeler here uses the M-Series tape. As such, there's no wasted 1" blank tape every time you print a label. No need to manually trim that non-existent 1" blank section. Great, but... The PT-D220 allows you to set the margins to "narrow". The PT-M95 doesn't. As such, the margins on the PT-M95's output are a ... read more
