Trust is hard to come by in the Heating and Air Business. I've been jacked many times, and I can say that Puyallup is not that kind of company. I had central air added to a 2750 square foot home and the job was done with care and precision. That was 2 years ago and it came with a free follow up. They called me last week and I said come on down and I need my furnace tuned for the winter, they did both for free. Now how can you beat that? Be nice to them and they'll provide top rate service. Much better than Washington ... read more

I don't usually write reviews but I feel that this must be said. I have used this company for 5 different projects. The first three went very well. The crews that were here was quite good. the last two projects did not go well. The crews were not the same caliber as the first three crews. The problems with the fourth project was retified by the company. The last project that was done, it was clear that the crew didn't know what they were doing as far as the roof vents was concerned. I talked was the manager, Eric about the p... read more

I was out of town, and my 93 year old father in law called to tell me that our furnace was out. My usual HVAC man was indisposed, so since it was a Carrier furnace, I called this company to come and check it out. I was informed by Anthony that the inducer motor had seized, and its failure had caused a furnace shutdown. He then suggested that I buy an entirely new furnace from them, and the cost would be $4K to $6K for a 60,000 BTU unit. He said the motors were hard to obtain on a 22 year old furnace. I arrived home 3 day... read more

Business response:

Hello Thomas. We offer repair services on most makes and models of equipment, however, we are not a supply house and have a very limited supply of parts on hand. For replacement parts we are dependent on our factory suppliers and with some equipment, like your 23-year-old furnace, those suppliers may inform us that they are no longer available from them. While parts may be obtained through online third parties, we do not have the knowledge of their origin, they do not have a factory warranty and we are unable to guarantee... read more

bait & switch. I took their bid and paid a large deposit months ago. didn't mind waiting for my new air conditioner. We took Monday off for the install but Friday night, 10 minutes before they close some guy (Mark) calls and leaves a message that they cannot give me the brand name unit I ordered but some odd brand. we tried to call back, but they are closed. Now I will have to get all new bids and see if they will refund my money (they really need to) and I will have to schedule and wait for a different company to provide a... read more

BRAND NEW furnace installed this Spring already not working. Coldest weekend of the year, and NO RESPONSE from PH&A for after hours. i called during the day on Friday and got blown off until TUESDAY for repair service. Their "internet representatives" utterly useless. Astonishing how they continue to be employed. 22* last night and still have no heat. Did I mention this is a BRAND NEW unit, installed 6 months ago and only in use for a month. Way to nail customer service.

Repair requested was to reconnect two heating ducts that had fallen away from the floor registers on opposite sides of the house, and to perform a "service" on our gas-forced air furnace. The previous required access through the crawl space under our home. The tech was not interested in viewing the furnace inside the home so as to more quickly understand the physical layout of the system. Next, the tech was afraid to access the crawl space. He then left, suggesting we use a different company. My best assessment? Afraid to ge... read more

We signed in February, we were told installation by July. The only thing true...no installation by July, we were told there was no heat pump available still. We bought because we like Shane, the sales consultant. He had no control over a heat pump getting to us...in fact I finally realized, if he can't find a heat pump how in the world can we count on them for maintenance. I recommend any company hire this man, he is why we bought Puyallup heating and air. They have no product!

Business response:

Hi Chris. We appreciate your feedback and take it very seriously. We apologize for the delay of your heat pump. A number of the suppliers and manufacturers have experienced major supply chain issues since COVID and they are still coping with them. We would like to speak with you more, but we need more information to make sure we can find your account and job. Please DM us your full name, addresss, and phone so we can find you in our system. Otherwise, if you prefer to reach out by phone, please call our office and ask for Ja... read more

I made an appointment over a week ago to have someone come out and do a service. I was told it would be between 12 and 2. At 2:03 or so I received a text that the tech was on his way. I called the office and asked why I wasn't told before he was late, that he would be. I got a thousand and one excuses but none of that matters. Do as you say and say as you do. If anything, it may have given him more time to do the job he was working on. It angers me that people have lost the ability to have common courtesy. So, one star is go... read more
