YAYYYYYYYYY!!! I've been using a Dymo 4XL for about a year now, and it is the worst. I was so unhappy with it that I literally threw it on the floor. It survived that, unfortunately, but recently it's been spitting out 3-4 blank labels for every one that I print, so I decided it's time for an upgrade. Didn’t work after multiple different printers. Would give it a zero if I could. Tried two of them & couldn’t get either of them to work. Bought a dymo & it worked right away.
Does NOT print lables upward like photo Does NOT print labels upward like photo - they print face down therefore if you use certain rolls this will NOT work even with adapter to use any roll. Stickers on roll MUST be face down - most rolls sold are with stickers face up. Photo is NOT correct!

Betckey replace roll The printer works great, love it, but the replacement roll I ordered through Betckey at the same time did not and I tried it several times. I finally ordered a Brother replacement and it worked first try.

Caution to Linux Users The QL1100 is advertised as working with Linux. I use a Linux Mint 18.3 Ubuntu derivative system and could not get this printer to work. I tried 3 different methods for the driver install: 1) Brother's recommended method, several attempts failed with files missing errors; 2) Linux Mint's gdebi method, same failure results; 3) manual installation of all files. Not wireless. Since it’s 2018 I assumed this was gonna be wireless but it’s not :/. However, the do make a wireless one! 1100-NWB
