Didnt work for my use It is useless if you want to print small tags. The description says it can print small tags. But it is not capable of printing small tags.
Not so simple to print from Ebay I bought this to print shipping labels from eBay as part of my e-commerce business. The description claims the ability to print from all sorts of platforms, but if you try to print from eBay, you will get a landscape printout of the bottom third of the label. Only when I went online to watch a video did I realize how to print the label. I had to print the label as a PDF, then go into Adobe and crop the image, set it to landscape, and print. The Things failed and didn’t print I have received the printer as faulty it didn’t work at all so disappointed thanks anyways
Bought Brand New - tells me it needs service. Purchased Brand New. Labels feeds backwards. Never did print. Tells me it could need service. Contact Brother. Very disappointed.
drivers all messed up This was great for about a year and then they did some sort of bizarre update to their drivers, and now when you open the print sizes it is all this bizarre gobbledeygook and we can't print at all. VERY frustrating, and it held up my whole ecommerce company for several days - we bought a totally different brand instead.
Brother got greedy The printer itself is nice, but Brother kneecapped it with their special labels. While you can get it to work with generic labels, they clearly don't want you to and so it's a big hassle. After just a few months the printer somehow got messed up when an employee was trying to deal with a paper change and now it prints blanks and half labels. The best part of Brother is usually that they don't nickel and dime you with consumables, but that's not the case here. I'd highly recommend avoiding this one.
FRUSTRATING Wow. What a terrible product. 1st it does not connect to WIFI so you have to sit there with your MAC and hook it up to a USB. Unfortunately new macs do not have a USB port with out an adapter. Additionally it is super difficult to print your labels from a third party such as etsy. I was looking to make the shipping process easier not more difficult. Super frustrating!!!!
