I have been going to RBV since 1985 with our Golden Retriever Duffy! Original office was at the corner of Newman Springs and Rt. 35! Dr. Tom Trotter was our vet and still is! They then moved to the old Central Jersey Blood Bank further up Newman Springs Rd. Then to Apple Street and now in Red Bank on Schultz Dr. They have grown to be the finest Veterinary Hospital in the state! I am oh so pleased to be able to have the best of the best … and Dr.Trotter! We brought our boy in not knowing what to expect, he was diagnosed with lymphoma by our GP. The staff entirely explained all his treatment and gave us hope that his time with us would be the best possible. He has entered into chemotherapy treatment. Jenna, who sets the appointments for Dr. Haggerty, was very helpful. She answered my questions and was pleasant throughout. Dr. Haggerty was great! He explained to me in detail what the procedure for Tiger would be. He made me feel at ease leaving my precious baby at the hospital. Having dedicated and knowledgeable professionals to deal with was of utmost importance. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Haggerty!! Everyone was very welcoming the whole place was very clean and Oliver was calm in the spacious room. They clearly evaluated Oliver and made a plan instead of just demanding a bunch of tests. The exam was very thorough and the doctor was amazing with him.
We were able to get right in to see the doctor. Our doctor was very kind, knowledgeable and made Peanut, my husband, and I feel welcome and at ease. Peanut isn't always the nicest with new people but she was very well behaved and sweet this trip and we are delighted about the support and care we received. Helped us learn how we keep our baby safe and well for her remaining (many) years to come in a kind and understanding manner!
Making an appt was quick and easy. They make it easy to have referring vet send over records as well. Upon arrival, everything moves promptly from check in to visit. The staff were all friendly, welcoming and receptive to answering questions. They addressed the situation promptly, going over all the options without pressure. I was content with this being a first visit.
