Dr. Aixa Megret Gonzalez and the rest of the staff are extremely professional and I highly recommend them. Our dog Hudson need some delicate surgery that our general veterinary practice was uncomfortable handling. Our local surgical hospital could not see Hudson for 6 weeks while another surgical hospital took days to call us back. Red Bank was there for us. They took us in almost immediately. I'm reading the other reviews and can tell people are responding in pain. We brought an incredibly incapacitated dog to the emergency room at the suggestion of our vet. I was working so couldn't get there until 6pm and the neurologist was thankfully still there. They recommended an MRI which was a lot of money but it confirmed our pup had a herniated disc that required immediate surgery. The doctor took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. I felt free and relaxed regarding treatment and options. However, on the first visit, I sensed some impatience at the front desk toward my dog, who was anxious about going to the vet. Maybe they were having a bad day, but that's still not an excuse. Thankfully, the staff and tech made me feel more comfortable and less apprehensive on my next visit.

We went to this veterinary hospital because we were recommended by all other vets in the area to go to this one. I knew it was going to be pricey because of the reviews so that wasn't my problem with the place. I'm giving this place 3/5 stars, the reason I won't go lower is because I can tell they do have great surgeons and their place is huge, which helps many animals and they are open 24 hours which I am grateful for. The exam rooms are not soundproofed. I could hear the conversation of the pet owners and their doctor next door. Where is the privacy? The new hospital is cold and uninviting. My cat gets her cancer treatment here, so we will continue to come here. However, I'm disappointed in the new facility. I don't want people to hear my whole conversation with our doctor when I'm discussing sensitive and upsetting topics such as cancer!!!

Came in for an emergency and was seen right away (the only reason for the 3 stars). Unfortunately my dog passed within only a few hours being there and I'm left with an enormous bill. Did they try their hardest to save my dog? I guess I'll never know. All I know is the main topic of conversation with anyone there during my visit was money.

I can't say enough great things about Dr Ringle. When I first met him, I thought that he was a little standoffish, but that changed, once we got to know him, he is an excellent surgeon. Our 12 yr old diabetic Min Pin developed cataracts. I was hesitant about getting the surgery done because of his age and condition. Dr Ringle explained everything that was going to happen before, during and after the surgery. If I had a question, he was kind enough to call back and was extremely patient with me. Thank you, RBVH for helping us with the passage of our nearly 21 year old cat, Emmy. Your compassion and caring was stellar with her, as it was with our dog, Angel, eight years ago, who was about the same age. It's so comforting to know that you are available anytime we need help with our beloved pets.
