Get directionsReally had a great experience, my geriatric cat was not doing well and the staff took every step to keep me informed and were understanding of the emotional aspect of it as an owner. I truly thought it was the end of our journey together but they have given me some more time with my old guy and I trust their experience and advice moving forward. Addressing the health of the pet as well as the owners emotions and assuring them every step of the way.

After 18+ months of working with RBVH, when it came time to say good bye to my beloved dog, the only people we saw or came into the room with us, on one the hardest days of our lives, were strangers. No one we had worked with, no one who comforted us throughout the 18 months. The whole event was cold and sterile and it had left the most horrible lasting scar on our hearts. Dog went into RBVH on a Thursday evening with a blood disease. He was admitted and was discharged on Monday afternoon. The estimate was $7k-$11k and the bill was $15K. They have you over a barrel as your animal is sick and you are emotional. You will do just about anything so that your pet gets well. Good news: dog received round the clock care and has so far recovered. Bad news: I felt, and still feel, as if we were constantly being pushed for more and more tests. I know this hospital and the doctors are very good there. When I go there, there is never an issue. But today I had a horrible experience on the phone with some scheduling person. I had a simple question about schedules, but she wasn't listening, repeating her spiel many times and talking over me. She held me on the phone until 5 p.m., after which she said I would need to leave a message. The place is pricey, and I just don't understand how they cannot afford professional personnel.

The ultimate farce about red bank is that people who have had a horrible experience at garden state recommend this lot. Reality is that staff is anything but competent and truthful, terrible results are the rule as are back breaking prices . Place is a hell hole

My sweet angel Baxter was taken from us too soon. Killed by an overdose before his ear surgery even began. I was not informed that fentanyl would be used and that pumps that administer it are not tested prior to use. This negligence is unforgivable and to top it off I was treated heartless and cold by the vet who never called me after but sent a letter addressed "to whom it may concern" and a communication relayed by a "client" advocate that is there for damage control.
