Get directionsBE AWARE OF THIS HOSPITAL! It is evident that the doctors of this hospital are only interested in generating a profit and will place the health and wellbeing of the patients' pets in second place. I brought my beloved golden doodle Lucia in for emergency treatment following a harrowing car accident and was met with blatant disregard and incompetence. Not only did the doctors perform a surgery on my dog without informing me of all the potential risks leading to several infections on my dog's leg (multiple 1 hour trips and add... read more

Dear Dr. Glass and the Red Bank Animal Hospital Team, I'm writing to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding the care my dog received during our recent visit. This letter is not written lightly. I have known and trusted Dr. Glass and Red Bank Animal Hospital for over 20 years, which is why I turned to you during a particularly challenging time. I expected thoughtful guidance, honest communication, and care rooted in compassion and expertise. What I experienced instead left me grieving, blindsided, and financial... read more

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and emotional distress regarding the care my Doberman received at your facility. Unfortunately, my experience with your hospital has left me devastated, and I feel compelled to share the details of my experience. I brought my dog in with high hopes for his recovery after a surgery, believing that the hospital would provide the necessary care and attention he required. I had experienced a similar situation at another hospital in Philadelphia, where my pet successfully recovered... read more

I DO NOT RECOMMEND RBVH. I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU.. YOU SAID SHE WAS FIGHTING THE SEDATION- I WANTED TO GIVE HER A CHANCE AND YOU STOLE THAT FROM ME. March 13, 2021, I brought my fancy rat, Pickles to get euthanized. She had a tumor and declining health. Although I don't remember the exact verbiage of my lengthy google review posted in 2021 that has since disappeared - I will always remember my experience: I was not allowed in the room, you guys said euthanizing a rat was traumatic as its not a normal procedure. I waited 2... read more

My dog, Luna, was with me and my mom for about 3 years. Luna was a rescue from Castle of Dreams and was originally a backyard breeder dog. Although Luna had her quirks from her previous situation, she was an amazing dog and made strides in a home where she was surrounded by love, patience, and stability. Luna was having multiple different issues that were affecting her health. It was determined that Luna had a multi-organ medical problem. On May 16th, 2025, while Luna was on a car ride with me, as I was driving, Luna laid ... read more

We brought our French Bulldog, Zoey, to Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in September 2022 due to breathing issues. She was alert and able to walk in, but was intubated and extubated multiple times before the plan was made to re-intubate and gradually wean her off the next day. The following day, we received a call saying she had been weaned off, but her breathing still didn't seem normal. They asked if we could come in to see her. At that point, we were told a surgeon would be EVALUATING her later in the day. Not long after, w... read more
My dog wynter had diarrhea that escalated to bloody in the afternoon so I brought her in. I saw Dr Ruggerio for her care and the plan options she gave were to start iv fluids for any losses, a bland diet of chicken and rice, as well as the option for a probiotic and flagyl. I opted to start the probiotic and if it doesnt resolve start the flagyl as my dog is a senior and I didn't want to have an additional med if it wasn't necessary. Day 4 of the bland diet and probiotic and my dog had a more formed stool but it was still... read more

Misdiagnosed my dog as having twisted intestines when I brought him in for heat stroke. So the doctor performed an unnecessary surgery and we had to pay for it. Along with the post op hospital stay. We were told by doctors and billing department that sometimes these things happen, it was the best case scenario according to them. So they took my dog from critical condition to extremely critical condition. Avoid this hospital go to Garden State.
