There was an issue with the water leaking from the upstairs unit. Restoration Management Company came out to check the damage and give an estimate. The manager did not disclose any information regarding how long the humidifiers would be used and how much anything would cost. I did not receive any information.

They wasn't not professional.

RMC did not complete the full scope of work per the contract. They left part of the moisture barrier that was that was supposed to be removed during their portion of the work. The remaining moisture barrier had to be removed by the company installing new barrier after RMC did remediation work. We were charged $350 by new company for this. We contacted our project manager Matthew Nicholas and he he agreed by email that we should be refunded the $350. There was a lack of communication between Restoration Management and me.

6 days passed before any work had started. The day I called for emergency water mitigation services, they did send someone out to survey the damage. Then 6 days passed before any work had started. I'm not the water damage expert but I would assume the longer we wait before acting to mitigate water damage, the greater the risk in development of mold and mildew; factors in which I believe we all would like to avoid in a water-caused damage situation. A 6 day wait when contacted for "emergency" services seems ridiculous.
