Contrary to the other reviews here, my experience with Richard's has been overwhelmingly positive. We first visited them a full year before we decided to begin our project just to weigh our options. A full year later, when we contacted Kristi, she still had our design plan waiting for us and even remembered us by name. Kristi was thorough and thoughtful in the planning. My wife and I bought a pool from Richards and Jonathan Gill was out sales contact. He was professional, friendly and gave us great customer service. Our pool was finished in a months time several years back and we are still amazed at our backyard paradise from Richards. We will Definitely refer all our family and friends and will definitely be a repeat customer at our next home. Amazing pool.

Want a positive experience with a pool remodel? Look elsewhere. What I thought was a straightforward replaster and deck recoating job has turned into a complete exercise in frustration and a large case of buyer's remorse. The pool looks great but if you pick this company you are gonna have to stay on them or you will hit significant delays.I had neighbors go with ***** ****pools from **** and they signed their contract on the same day and were swimming over a month before I was. A bad feeling while spending $110k.

We had water come into our house. It was not via the front or back door. It was via the right side of my house. The water came into my home via the weep holes into my master bedroom and closet. After investigation, it came to our attention that our pool equipment was also located on this side of the house. The slab that was built to rest the pool equipment was level to the top of the slab of our foundation. The only thing separating the slab from our foundation is a ¼ inch wide wooden joint. the hurricane created heavy rains and flooded your side yard the equipment pad was below the weep holes and the flooding on the side of your house went above the equipment pad and all along that side of your house. We cannot be responsible for acts of nature like hurricane floods. There have been many rain storms over the year since the pool was installed with no flooding but this was a hurricane flooding event
My complaint is about The Richard’s Total Care, the company that had actually built our pool, whom we hired to fix the pool heater. The Richard’s Total Care fixed a problem with our swimming pool heater in March of this year. I personally went to the company and requested the service call. I was verbally quoted twice $79 for the visit, but NEVER given any written estimate. Technician came to service the pools’ heater, but NEVER quoted the cost. Company was contracted to pour a cement slab and install a new hot tub. The cement slab job was not completed and poured in such a way that will cause damage to the property. Hot tub has operational defects that became apparent after 1 use, became unusable after 3 uses over first 5 days.
