Ive seen that the medical team truly cares and excels in their job. Nurse Leah is on point and gets it done. She always starts her shift early and stays late. She will make sure your request is taken care of before she leaves her shift that night, she doesn't just pass it along to the next shift. She is always sweet and has an upbeat demeanor, she will even tell jokes and chit chat with you if she likes you. The customer service I have gotten from the nurses has been outstanding and great.

My nurse in building 4 Glenn deserves kudos because he if very efficient and has great follow through. He explains everything carefully and shows that he really cares. He tells us what and why the medications work and is very sympathetic to our needs. Im glad hes on my floor.

My dorm is always taken care of when Andrew is on shift. he understand recovery and openly shares his experience with you by giving great advice and telling you what you need to hear not what you want to hear. He will stop to talk with you when ever he notices you are off and he takes his time to go out of the way to help. It feels good knowing that someone understands what I'm going through and genuinely wants to help. River Oaks has been one of the best rehabs I have ever been to and hopefully the last!

My therapist Amy is always there when I need her. She is easy to talk to and has a lot of information and knowledge about addiction. She has done EMDR therapy with me to help me address some of my traumas and it has been extremely helpful to start uncovering some of the things that have been holding me back and causing me to use. I feel happier and more healthy than I have in so many years. Amy has been instrumental to me in starting the healing process.

We are all as a community thankful for TA Adrian because he just treats you like a normal person and helps whenever he can. Like he helped someone get into their luggage when they needed important paperwork that took for ever with other staff members but Adrian went right away to help get the situation handled. He looks out for us and takes our needs seriously and always has a great attitude because he doesn't complain about doing his job.

My therapist Shannon is great to work with. He knows exactly how to make you feel good about yourself. He focuses on rebuilding self confidence and working through some of the shame that goes along with bein in addiction. He has given me so many valuable insights into myself and my ways of thinking that helped to open up my eyes and figure out some of my past traumas. He is very professional and knowledgeable, which has helped me so much throughout my time in treatment.

I like that my room is cleaned daily and they do laundry once a week here. My housekeeping lady Rosie is super nice and is great at what she does. She went our of her way to get me fresh linens and towels and always has the best attitude with a smile on her face that is contagious. This is some of the best customer service ive ever seen in a rehab.

Any time I need something fixed, JR the handy man is always right there willing to help. He is very nice and also asks me how I am doing and checks in to make sure we are doing ok. he always rides around on his little red cart checking up on things on campus and will even give us a ride sometimes if we need it to get across campus and make it easier on us and our backs! All the staff here has been very nice, the campus is huge and very clean and beautiful, due in part to JR and his positive attitude!

Nurse Patricia has been critical in making me feel comfortable at a time when I really need it. She was always kind to me when ever I came for my vitals and assessments, she showed me compassion for the first time in a long time and it made me feel more like a human again to be treated like a person after a long time of not knowing what that felt like. She would go out of her way to help me and I will always be grateful for that.
