If I had to use only one word to describe Rob, it would be “Responsive”. This word was used by both the closing agent at the Escrow company and our Realtor. He makes himself very available, and is quick to respond (especially by email). It was rare that I could not reach Rob on the phone. If you are reading this debating if you can trust NBKC Bank and Rob as a lender I am here to tell you YES YOU CAN! Rob was absolutely wonderful to work with and handled everything professionally and extremely quickly. In my situation I had made an offer on a house with another lender, and in shopping around found Rob and NBKC bank with a much lower rate (.6% lower in fact). Found Rob at Costco Mortgage and it was a great experience. From him immediately calling us to the final closing (which closed earlier in our situation), he was there step-by-step, available to reply to any questions we had virtually anytime. Robert was extremely professional, responsive, and dedicated to the best customer service. This was my first house buying experience and I took a VA Loan. I honestly think I chose the best lender and loan officer out there. I would never use anyone else if I buy another house in the future. He will respond to any and all questions on any day at any time. He is dedicated to customer satisfaction.

I have purchased three homes in my life, and this was by far the easiest purchase process I’ve experienced. Rob was timely with answering questions (didn’t matter if it was weekends or late). I would send a message expecting to hear back the next morning only to have him answer me ten minutes later. There was a mess up with titling the week before closing, and nbkc was the one to discover it and help fix the title company’s mistake on time. Rob was great to work with, I highly recommend to anyone who is interested in getting a mortgage. Rob meet every bump in the road with a solution. Anytime I had a question he got an answer back to me quickly. Buying a home is a tough task with everything involved, do yourself a favor and don’t worry about if you’re banker is really trying to help you get a house and get ahold of Rob!
