Furnace and AC installation We asked 3 furnace companies to quote the replacement of our furnace and AC and have settled with Furnace Family. Chris the salesman was knowledgeable and very accommodating. The 2 installers (Daniel and ??) came on the very cold day to install the furnace. They did an excellent job, cleaned up everything before they left. The AC was not installed yet due to the extreme cold weather but they had wired everything inside the house. Furnace stopped working Furnace stopped working on a very cold day in Dec 2021. Furnace Family technician came out and assessed. Older furnace part was not available, but technician went above and beyond trying to source the part, making multiple phone calls. Further, he was very helpful in guiding us on a replacement furnace: provided excellent service, professional, and was exceptionally trustworthy! Thank you. Would hire them again, for sure!

No Heat Saviours Tenanted main floor suite, the tenants call to say no heat, and they cannot get the thermostat to work. Thermostat says its 16 degrees, and as its December in Edmonton, you know the temperature is going to drop quickly. Furnace is a new install less than 1 year old. I call the installer who agrees to go see first thing the next morning. He checks it out and decides it must be the thermostat which was upgraded by a different company when the AC was installed. Hot water tank and softener Old tank died, and we decided to install a water softener as well. Previously we had used Williams HVAC to install our furnace and were very happy with the results. Since this company is now part of Furnace Family we gave them a call. Price was competitive. They were patient with us as we tried to work through the options for tank vs tankless. Replacement of Exising Thermostat to Daikin Smart Thermostat My original smart thermostat that was installed by Williams HVAC which is now Furnace Family a few years back was not working properly this summer and fall. The temperature once the air conditioner was turned off for the season was unusually high even with windows open in our cool Calgary temperatures. Furnace Repair Service man was ontime, arrived within one hour on an emergency call on a Sunday. Diagnosed problem, fixed it for fair price. Very polite . Would definitely use this company again. Had great experience with them as well in the past when they were Williams.
