NEVER LET THESE DOCTORS TREAT YOUR CHILDREN. Worst dr ever. If I can give zero stars I would. They don't want to see my daughter because her issues are too complicated for them. My daughter is 2 months old. My husband and I came in for her 2 month old shots to find out that they do not want to see her anymore as a patient. But the day before called to confirm our appointment. So unprofessional. Parents, particularly FOB, threatened staff, used vulgar language, yelled in waiting room. All in view of 5 other families. Some children as young as 12 months witnessed this behavior. When asked to leave repeatedly parents refused and continued their abhorrent behavior, as a last resort RPD was called. During wait other families were removed from waiting area for their safety and their children's well being. We have forwarded a complaint to DA, along with 2 other family written complaints. The worst place to take your child (Ren) Dr. Avala sucks and has no clue about the babies she works with. Staff and all are all rude, disrespectful, unprofessional! It takes weeks for an appointment. They hang up and slam the phones. Don't ever bother taking your children there.
The doctors are amazing. But the front desk staff is so terrible. I left this practice 6 months after my son was born because I couldn't tolerate how rude and disrespectful the office staff was. And I'm super sad about it because Dr. Khaira, who is honestly phenomenal. You can tell he honestly cares. I also saw dr avala who was great too. However, I have little patience for rudeness- so I left this practice. I keep searching to see if Dr. Khaira has switched practices because I WOULD follow him if he left.
The Doctors are good however the ladies at the front desk are horrible ! I called to see if I can get an emergency appointment because my 3 month old had so much phlegm in her throat she was choking on it, they told me to just put the humidifier on & that they can't see her until next month at her next appointment! I begged for 5 minutes for them to just see her they said no to take her to the emergency room so I did & they treated her and told me to schedule an appointment with her doctor within the next week. Horrible horrible horrible. Do not even consider sending your child to this office. I was told on the phone that they would not see my autistic daughter because the doctors there didn't know how to "DEAL" with autistic children. She is a child like any other. She deserves medical care just the same as any other child. Doctors take the oath of service to help those in need, isn't that right? Horrible Service . Rubina at the front desk is the most rudest person ever. I went for a first visit and I never even met my doctor. The other thing is when I really wanted to see a doctor they didn't let me make an apt. They were prescribing medicine for my son over the phone . No thank you. Changing my doctor and clinic right now
They misdiagnosed my toddler three times this year. On our last well-check visit, they tried to tell me that my son may have Autism because he's shy around other children. They then proceeded to charge me for the Autism screening form that I filled out. They charged $16.00 for this screening questionnaire. There were 20 questions on these two pieces of paper. I answered 'No' to one of the 20 questions so they want to refer me to a Autism specialist. What a crock of s*#t. This is how the health care industry scams you out of ... read more
I called today to pay my bill at 4:00pm. I get an operator who tells me to call back tomorrow the office has stopped taking calls and have forwarded all calls to the operator. There office doesn't close til 5pm. What terrible customer service. I mean this place just keeps getting worse. What a joke!! I'm trying to give you my money for your terrible service to finally cut all ties with your office but your to busy to accept my phone call. This place makes me laugh. Definitely NOT recommended.

Despite explaining that 'elective' procedures such as circumcisions are not always reimbursable and our policy reflects this fact, parents were unhappy which was difficult to broach. The vast majority of pediatric providers in the area do not provide such procedures, yet we do as a courtesy to our patients. I wish I could recommend this Pediatric office, but I just can't. I have been there four times and each time had a less than satisfactory visit. They have one person at the front desk who has to take care of everything. Yesterday, she was helping with an air-conditioning problem because the manager wasn't in! She was helpful and pleasant, but obviously stretched too thin, which means you have to wait way too long to check-in or be helped on the phone.
