we were a bate and switch. Plumber comes out and we get to know him from a few jobs. We have a problem with hot water. Rome the plumber comes back with an estimate of $4300 from Jim the manager. Two day job, two guys. Later they say $2300 Rome can fix one day. Rome comes, 4 hours, hot water kitchen, but now slow in bathroom. Never fixed. Credit charge fee of 4%. I found my receipt doing year end clean up. I should of complained right after but I get intimidated. On 11-8-22 service man JA-134 came to unplug my toilet which clogs everytime you have a BMW. JA came in like a tornado arrived 3:20 pm left 3:30 pm (and left dirty water from the toilet on bathroom floor). So I literally paid $117.70 not for a fixed drain but for nasty spill left on my floor. This is what he wrote: augered stool, line open, No Guarantee.

I told them the sump pump wasn’t working. They sent out someone without any sump pumps and charged a service fee. Sent out next guy he charged $100.00 more then the quoted price. He tracked grease all over our carpet and and kitchen floor. He also left a grease mess in the basement. We spent the next 2 hours trying to get the grease out of the carpet. DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!

Paid $240 to have a job half done. 2 weeks later problem wasn’t solved and they wanted to charge me again to do the job they should have done the first time. Told them main line was clogged and tech only snaked 30ft. Had another company come in for $140 and snake the entire line out to sewer. Roto Rooter is a joke of a service for that price. Will never return and will let everyone know not to use them.

When they finally got there it was a quick thing. The guys were nice. The whole “we will be there between 8-4” really isn’t the way to do things anymore. I took today off and then didn’t receive a call until 4:10 and they showed up at 4:20. A complete wasted day off of work. I know they have some sort of an idea of what order they are seeing their customers. Giving them an 8 hour time frame is absolutely ridiculous. Call within a two hour time frame makes way more sense. I originally had my Home Warranty company send someone out for a sewer stoppage/clog. They came and snaked the drain for almost 2 hrs, said they couldn't get it and it was probably a broken pipe and recommended a camera. The warranty company said they didn't cover anything past snaking the drain. Sewer backed up again ( it was slowly draining) called Roto Rooter and they were the only place I got an actual person and didn't have to leave a msg. Horrible service from the call service line. My wife and I scheduled for a plumber to unclog our kitchen sink Saturday the 26th at noon, their customer service cancled it with out any sort of notice. When I called to ask what happened they said Steve took us off the schedule to go on his vacation instead. No plumber showed up from 8am to 12pm in the scheduled time they assigned. At 2:30pm I called to see what the issue was and their customer service line opperator wouldn't connect me with a manager. She was rude and disrespe... read more
