Paid $240 to have a job half done. 2 weeks later problem wasn’t solved and they wanted to charge me again to do the job they should have done the first time. Told them main line was clogged and tech only snaked 30ft. Had another company come in for $140 and snake the entire line out to sewer. Roto Rooter is a joke of a service for that price. Will never return and will let everyone know not to use them.
When they finally got there it was a quick thing. The guys were nice. The whole “we will be there between 8-4” really isn’t the way to do things anymore. I took today off and then didn’t receive a call until 4:10 and they showed up at 4:20. A complete wasted day off of work. I know they have some sort of an idea of what order they are seeing their customers. Giving them an 8 hour time frame is absolutely ridiculous. Call within a two hour time frame makes way more sense. I originally had my Home Warranty company send someone out for a sewer stoppage/clog. They came and snaked the drain for almost 2 hrs, said they couldn't get it and it was probably a broken pipe and recommended a camera. The warranty company said they didn't cover anything past snaking the drain. Sewer backed up again ( it was slowly draining) called Roto Rooter and they were the only place I got an actual person and didn't have to leave a msg. Horrible service from the call service line. My wife and I scheduled for a plumber to unclog our kitchen sink Saturday the 26th at noon, their customer service cancled it with out any sort of notice. When I called to ask what happened they said Steve took us off the schedule to go on his vacation instead. No plumber showed up from 8am to 12pm in the scheduled time they assigned.
