My pup, Benny, absolutely LOVES Dr. DeCiero! My husband and I moved to Austin 2 years ago and have been going to RRAH since then. It is a beautiful, clean facility with ample parking and a big yard for the pups / animals who have to stay over to run around in. I've been using them for 3 years now and only have very very high praise. They go above and beyond. I originally chose them for many reasons - they've existed longer than I've been alive (since '78), I could walk to them, and they had great reviews. This year my boy had a cancer scare - still going through it. As always, they've been amazing through the process. I literally showed up one week with "I also found these bumps!" freaking out. I have been going to Round Rock Animal Hospital for many years. Everyone is always so great to speak with. We have had 2 pets put down and they were so so very concerned about us as well as our pet. Our pets always get the best care here. Will continue to go.
If you've interacted with a lot of medical providers, you've met iffy ones and know the tells. No issues here. My girlfriend isn't the easiest cat owner to work with (super attached), but I've been in the exam room with them every time and have never heard a hint of impatience or disrespect from any of their staff in answering her fears. We've worked with every single vet here and I'd recommend any of them. [Note: not reviewing front desk staff, never do, don't consider it the product under test. You're all fine people.]
Like all pet owners I am very picky when it comes to a good vet. Before going to Round Rock Animal Hospital I went to Thrive, I am frugal and thought it was the best deal, while you get what you pay for.....Plus the prices at Round Rock Animal Hospital are very reasonable. Full disclosure, I am very overprotective with my dog and am also very frugal. I hate feeling like I'm being taken advantage of or being pushed for something that I don't feel I need. That being said I LOVE this place. I've had several vets in my dogs 11 years because we've moved a lot. I have taking my fur children here 40 years. Dr. David Hocher is great. He is treating my cat, Maggie (18) who is blind. He discovered she has high blood pressure which may be the cause. Their website has a way to contact doctors after hours and on weekends and they quickly respond. I recommend them.
This is one of best Animal Hosptals! I had to take my girl on a urgent care visit today due to allergy issues, which she has not had till we moved here. Everyone there was awesome and understood i was upset over my girl not feeling good. They went above and beyond for me today. My girl aready is feeling better and I will always go to this vet for any of pets needs. I have 3 dogs total and they all go here!!!!
I'm so pleased with this veterinarian. Staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly and price is very reasonable. Facility is clean and I know we will be long-term clients!
