Just don’t bring your car here. They replace steering racks and send you on your way with an out of wack alignment and a crooked steering wheel. Even if you take it back TWICE they still will not actually fix the issue. This was to replace a defective part on a 2022 Honda Civic. We leased a 2019 Honda HRV from Royal. The door lock system failed recently leaving us stranded unable to reach roadside assistance which we paid for. We brought the car to Royal for repair which was diagnosed as caused by a water leak. This leak was a result of clogged drain lines from the sun roof. We were told that this was a result of having parked the car under a tree and the repairs are not covered under warranty ($900.00+). We went to look at vehicles yesterday with no intention of buying that day. I was upfront with the salesman about this we were trying to decide if we wanted a pilot or a crv. First of all the prices are high they claim because of supply and demand take your business to Honda of Harvey they aren't jacking up their prices and taking advantage of people Ryan Cambre is great over there. Some of the people in the service department are the least informative individuals I’ve ever met in my life. They beat around the bush when trying to help you understand the problem at hand so that you can bring it to someone else to fix the issue..?? they offer a warranty/insurance on tires they put on their cars, but don’t sell/have in stock the tire needed. Makes total sense.
The wife agreed to pay for a few things and the overall pricing, but when she brings home the itemized bill we learned that about 500 or more was for things she never would have agreed to and had already had done within the last month. Not exactly honest and up front.

Once upon a time I had the cutest little blue Jellybean...it was a 2010 Honda Insight that took me across the country multiple times. I always got it serviced at a dealership because I felt they would stand behind their work. THEN I mistakenly trusted them to do a simple tire rotation… Happy 1 year anniversary to Royal Honda in Metairie, thanks for the tire rotation that left me stranded on the side of I10 when my entire wheel came flying off due to the lug nots not being tightened properly. My daughter purchased a brand new Honda Accord and it had a major oil leak, would not let her trade the car in for a new car or give her a refund, car only had about 400 miles on it. Would not recommend
please share! I have had the worst experience dealing with Honda on Veterans Blvd. I dropped my car off Wednesday to get an airbag recall fixed, diagnostic testing and an oil change. My dad and stepmom picked my car up that night while I was working. when I got my car back my oil light was still on. they had charged me $180 for testing and had not change my oil.
