I have brought four dogs to Rye Harrison over the years. I now live over an hour away and since we have three dogs we need something closer. This is the best animal hospital anywhere. Uncompromising care and concern. It's been that way for the entire time. Dr. Pisciotta and Dr.Yarnell, and long time vet tech Denise are all INCREDIBLE PEOPLE, who make your animals feel safe, calm(er!) and simply give the best care possible. I would highly recommend Rye Harrison Veterinary Hospital. Dr. John Pisciotta and his team are very dedicated and knowledgeable with respect to the care of animals. Dr. Pisciotta and his staff have been treating my sweet cat for 8 years. Most recently she has been ill. During each step of her treatment plan Dr. Pisciotta. has checked in with me on a weekly basis to suggest further treatment options. Luna's health has improved due to his wonderful care and dedication.

When I started to notice my rat making snuffling/snorting noises when he breathed, I was not only worried for him, but unsure if I'd even be able to find a nearby vet that would a.) have expertise with rats, and b.) not charge hundreds of dollars for mediocre service. When I scheduled an appointment here, I was able to get a quick visit with lots of reassuring advice, a manageable bill, and a prescription for Dobie that seems to be working! Another review to mention rats and for anyone with small rodents or exotic animals. I am always pleasantly surprised by how quickly I can make an appointment, receive treatment, and get my pet returned with medications. I did the drop-off option, which included me dropping off my pet and the vet tending to him as soon as he got the chance. My rat was in an out within a couple hours. They were open with me about the cost of getting certain diagnostic procedure. For any one interested, it cost about ~$120 for the physical exam... read more

Rye Harrison Veterinary Hospital is the best veterinary hospital aliens they go above and beyond with caring and treating your pets. The doctors and staff are very friendly courteous and caring. We've been taking out pets (cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs) there for over 20 years. I wouldn't recommend any other vet!!

Had a issue with my pup's rear paw. They made time to see us that same evening at 7pm, and made the visit super easy following COVID precautions. You simply answer few questions on your phone, park in a numbered spot and they pick up and return your pet to the vehicle. Most importantly they helped my dog feel better, while taking a measured approach to her healing plan and trying to let her heal naturally, which I really appreciated. Thanks Rye and Harrison Vet!

Everytime we are their the service is excellent. The Doctors are caring And highly qualified. I have had dogs my whole life and always look for Vets that treat our pets like family. My only concern is the prices might be a little high. Although I really think they are comparable with all Vets. I would not take my dogs anywhere else. These Vets are worth it all. Thanks
Great experience from start to finish! We are first time owners to a sweet Golden Retriever puppy girl! Leia had some digestive issues from the day we brought her home. Needless to say, we were very anxious. Dr. Livingston and staff took us right away and took great care of our Leia. We would highly recommend Rye Harrison Vets!
