I was driving home from work and saw a white pigeon in the middle of a very busy major road, who was walking in a daze. It was obvious the pigeon may have been hit by a car. Cars went over the top of the pigeon, however, did not stop! I pulled my car over, got out, stopped traffic to pick up the pigeon that turned out to be a racing pigeon with bands on its legs. Have been coming here for 24 years with my parrot for treatment, boarding and annual checkups. Had used other vets before Rye Harrison and none were as knowledgeable and caring as these doctors. My bird is like a child to me and I trust his life to Dr. Pischotta and Dr. Green.

They are outstanding. We live 30+ minutes away and there are several closer vets. However, we wouldn't think of going anywhere else. We refer them to friends and acquaintances on a regular basis. Our experience with them includes multiple birds (cockatoo, cockatiel and three parakeets) and a large dog and spans 5 years. my dogs and cats have been patients of Rye Harrison for over 50 years. Gary Yarnell , John Pisciotta and their amazing staff have always given my animals the best of care. I also board my animals when we travel and they always come home happy and healthy. Never would I consider going anywhere else. From routine exams to surgery they really do it right. And for all of us who want only the best for our animals this is the place to go!

We started going to Rye Harrison Veterinary Hospital when we got our cat, Ashley, in March of 2000. Over the years, we saw many of the doctors for Ashley's regular checkups, and generally had good experiences. In the past few years, Ashley's health deteriorated slightly, as she experienced some kidney issues. I have been going to Rye Harrison Vet for the past 3 years with my small 3lb dog and couldn't be happier with the care we have received. The doctors are reliable, kind and caring especially Dr. Vieira. She undoubtedly cares about her patients and connects easily with their owners. I would recommend Rye Harrison to anyone who truly wants the best for their pets!!

I have been going to Rye Harrison Veterinary Hospital for more then 20 years with my various dogs, cats and birds that I've had throughout the years. The doctors are excellent and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a Vet.

I love this hospital the staff is always nice. My dogs are always given the best care. More importantly when our rabbit was dying they saved his life. We are forever grateful. Always nice to find a hospital that can handle exotics most can't.

The two vets I've used here are Dr. Green and Dr. Pisciotta. Both doctors have proven time and again that not only are they knowledgeable, but they truly care about their patients and getting them well. I've taken hamsters, a chinchilla, mice, a rabbit, and guinea pigs here and will continue to do so. It is incredibly hard to find a great exotics vet (at least in Westchester) and this place has two! I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone with exotics.
