Please make sure you see the fine print on the contract. I was told I could cancel or down grade at anytime and when I tried to make changes what was said was not true. Very disappointed.

Terrible company, terrible products with terrible customer service. I pay $80 a month for a non functioning security system with non working cameras. They will just blame your house and your wifi and tell you how all the other systems work so perfectly. Its something your doing wrong. They want over $1500 to get out of this terrible contract. Protect your money and your home, stay away from these scammers

We made an appointment with ADT to get our system serviced, as we had difficulty with the passcode. The rep came out and it was all about up-selling us on products. We explained that we had already chosen our products, and simply needed service for access. He was a broken record, not listening, and going back to his book to show us additional products and features. Very disappointing. And it turns out, two of our doors weren't even secured when ADT installed the system last year. I wouldn't recommend.

REALTORS® BEWARE - SCAM ALERT I have been working with Amanda Jones on 2 clients, now closed. I downloaded the SHS app to receive my referral fees. However, the first closing was rough because Amanda notified me that in order to receive my referral bonus, I had to first provide my buyers copy of their property deed. News to me. My husband and I recently purchased a new home through DR Horton that is also a supposed smart home equipped with a panel and a special front door lock. Since DR Horton purchased these items through this company of course an ADT rep got in contact with us about setting up service through them. Horrible customer service. I’ve had Enrique, Mandi and Wasif. Neither one of them will help with when you’re lost and confused. I paid $450 to the austin police department because I didn’t get my system a permit in the first week... and in the first week my original system MALFUNCTIONED and have false alarms which caused APD (austin police dept) to charge me. I got my system replaced and Safehaven would not help me at all on the charges because in the fine writing (DONT SIGN THEIR CONTRACT) they get away with a certain amoun... read more

I like the system and everything works and looks great! My issue was that I wished someone had told me it would have taken 7 hours to complete an install! we didn't order much equipment so i guess my technician felt the need to sell me some more. The install time was set for 1230, 4 hours he spent telling me how best to secure my home which I appreciated but at the end of the day I just needed the basic necessities to protect my family and I. We were very excited to get our new security system, especially the doorbell camera with motion detection. Over the first 2-3 weeks our camera filled up with the allotted 1,000 videos because it kept recording buses and anything larger than a car on the road that is over 50 feet from our house. We called to discuss this and they came out to our house and replaced the doorbell and verified that the sensitivity was turned all the way down (which it was). Horrible service. The representative (Francis) appeared to be a nice stand up guy. After being deceived by another representative, Francis wanted to “make it right”. He offer me the first two months free, no initial startup fee, and $100 gift card. Immediately after installation, I was billed two months. I contacted Francis on numerous occasions.
