Bought a broken 70 year old violin and went to Sam Ash and met this cool cat named Travis. He told me what i needed and they had all but one part; so he sold me nothing, and referred me to an expert that could accomodate all my parts. I was able to assemble the instrument, and noticed that the expert had removed the bridge from my case and neglected to return it They were closed by this time 5PM, so I went back and saw Travis and he hooked me up, remembered me by name and was just as helpfull at 7PM as he had been at 2. We had been a couple of other places before here and no one even acknowlegded us or asked if we needed help. We were planning on making a big purchase that night and ended up at Sam Ash. We were noticed and helped right away by Chad. He was very patient and helpful. If he had to go do something or help some one else he would come and let us know what he was doing and he would be back to help us again. I've stopped in to the Columbus Sam Ash to make a few small purchases over the years but always spend some time in the acoustic room. The staff has a good balance of being there to help you when you need it and also knowing when to leave you alone to browse. As friendly and helpful as you could ask for. It seems that every guitar I pick it up is in tune, unlike the competitor down the street.
