So it's really small. The food is super over priced. One of the employees really took care of us though. Gave us some information and took his time to talk to us. I felt as though the consistency of care ranged. If you went to the sting ray area, those tanks looked great. If you went to reptiles the same. But some of the water in other areas looked filthy. Tanks weren't anything special. Over 100 spent for three tickets and 10 tokens. Pretty overpriced in my opinion for how small it is.

Our family chose to vacation in SA during the hottest week of the summer. The pool we had scheduled to enjoy was shut down for maintenance and after melting our faces off at the Alamo we needed something to do that involved fun and air conditioning, something that certainly the kids would enjoy and the adults would find entertaining. Enter San Antonio Aquarium. Housed in what appeared to be an old car dealership you'll find the SAA. How to describe this place... An Aquarium-yes, definitely A petting zoo-yes surprisingly A g... read more

We love this place for hands on family fun! The price is a tad steep on a working person salary.

I've been to multiple Aquariums before and I have to say this one is the worst one yet. Dirty glass, dirty fish tanks, no exotic fish, if i wanted to see basic fish I woudve went to petco but even petco had more shit then they did. Whoever runs this place is trash, this aquarium if you can call it that is fkn trash. Do not waste any of your money here.

This place is not worth a penny. We paid $74 for tickets and tokens and that was a huge mistake. The place is horrible. Don't be fooled by the pictures online, it's dirty, smelly and so very boring. Nothing like what you see on their website. Save your money and go somewhere fun. I regret spending all that money just so my kid NOT have fun. I really thought he was going to have a fun experience, but it was terrible.

This place is very unsanitary, and unsafe for both the animals and the guest. It's not a aquarium, there's more animals than fish. You can touch almost every animal in this facility. Kids were touching baby stingrays while chopped off fish heads were floating around. The animals are not in nearly big enough cages/tanks. The smell is disgusting and the building itself looks like it was a used car dealership. You can clearly tell that this place is not somewhere that you want to give money to. I feel guilty that i did not do p... read more

Stopped by on a whim as we stayed overnight by here on a trip. My boys were ready to run around after being in a car and this place was actually a blast for them. Weirdly the main highlights were the giant bouncy castle room, and the surprisingly big arcade. My wife enjoyed the exhibits but I won't lie, it's pretty small and we got through that part very fast. What's there is unique and fun tho, kids loved petting the fish and alpaca. Would've given it a 4* but honestly $70 seems a bit high for entry for 2 adults and 2 kids,... read more

Animals we're placed in very small, un-sanitary enclosures. They offered touch tanks with dangerous unsupervised species, like small sharks, sting rays, and birds with sharp beaks. Water for many animals had a film of oil on top of it from any dirt from hands or the crumbling warehouse ceiling. Small children were unsupervised and climbing IN the tanks of many of the fish and sharks with no workers to be found. The main ocean area contained a mermaid face painter and balloon animal artist- which was a barely walkable hallway... read more
